We are a private family in Port Washington, NY seeking an experienced, career nanny to join our home long-term and care for our son (18 months in July).
We are hands-on, engaged parents looking for a true partner—someone who brings structure, warmth, and professionalism to each day, and is passionate about early childhood development.
This is a fully on-the-books (W2) position through a payroll service, offering stability, strong compensation, and a respectful, professional work environment.
Schedule:
Monday–Thursday: 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM
Friday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
46 hours/week guaranteed
The Role:
Provide attentive, development-focused care for one toddler
Plan and lead age-appropriate activities that support growth and learning
Maintain consistent routines (meals, naps, outings)
Prepare healthy meals and snacks for the child
Keep child’s spaces clean, organized, and well-maintained
Support light household management, including:
Cooking for the family
Weekly grocery shopping
Family laundry
Collaborate closely with parents on routines and development
Qualifications:
5+ years of full-time nanny experience (toddler experience required)
Career nanny mindset with strong, verifiable references
Warm, proactive, highly reliable, and organized
Comfortable taking ownership of both childcare and light household responsibilities
Able to balance independence with collaboration in a hands-on household
Seeking a minimum 12-month commitment (with opportunity to extend)
Compensation & Benefits (W2):
$24 to $30 per hour based on years of full time experience
46 hours/week guaranteed
Private furnished room, private bathroom, and private laundry
Full room & board (including groceries)
Health insurance reimbursement

2 weeks paid vacation + 5 sick days
NYSE holidays
Optional additional hours (e.g., date nights)
