A little bit about me
Thank you for taking the time to look through my page and I hope that you are able to find what you are looking for. If you are struggling then please feel free to contact me at any time! You don't have to hire me to ask me for my help I'll be more than happy to assist you in pointing you to the right direction so that you are able to find a right match.
I have worked officially as a Sales representative at YMCA, front desk coordinator and as a student in the past 5 years since my graduation. I kept switching in between based on personal and family needs and am now planning on putting school at a hold to help out with some expenses at home.
One thing that hasn't switched, however is my love of working with kids. I was unofficially a nanny for several kids in my area and have decided to pursue a certificate in caregiving this year because it is something I am passionate about.
Between kids and adults i always choose to work with the former because i get a chance to challenge my creative skills and learn new things. I am an arts and crafts enthusiast so you can be assured that while I'm there your kids have a fun project to work on to help them spend the time without you.
I work well with kids between the ages of 4 and 12 and teens who haven't graduated high school yet. I have ver little experience with toddlers but I can follow directions pretty well if one of the parents is around to delegate tasks for me.
I am available at almost any hour for contact and offer free meetups for parents who have a child with special needs. I understand how critical it is to set up an initial meeting to see how well I am able to connect with your child which is why I'm more than happy to come and do it for free.
And lastly, even though I proudly show off aclean drivers license with no points on It, I do not have a car. So if your opening requires for a drop off or pickup then I am not an ideal candidate, unless you have a spare car yo...

Understand Babysitter Responsibilities in Cupertino, CA
Before beginning the search for a babysitter, it’s important to understand what you’re looking for and if a babysitter is the right choice for your child care needs. There are lots of benefits to hiring a babysitter such as getting the flexibility of having some more time for yourself or with your partner. When hiring a babysitter, first, you should explore the differences between a nanny and a babysitter. If you’re looking for occasional child care, babysitters are the right choice for you, but if you’re looking for more frequent care, a nanny may be better for your needs.
From there, you can think about what you expect your babysitter to handle so that you can create a profile for nannies to reach out to you. The boundaries for babysitters’ duties can vary from family to family. However, in general, a babysitter is responsible for making sure your kids’ needs are met, including things like ensuring they have opportunities to play and be active. When tasks go beyond child care, for example to housekeeping, laundry, or meal preparation, it’s good practice to communicate these expectations with your babysitter before hiring them. Along with the different duties that you ask for, experience and location in Cupertino can impact how much you pay your babysitter.
Cupertino Babysitter Interviews
Once you start connecting with prospective babysitters, the next step is to conduct an interview. To make things a bit easier, here’s a list of some babysitter interview questions to consider asking:
- Do you have experience being a babysitter?
- What sort of household tasks are you open and comfortable doing?
- Do you have any references?
- Are you trained in First Aid or CPR in California?
- Do you have a California driver’s license? Do you own a car?
- How do you handle tantrums? Can you share an experience disciplining children?
During the hiring process, it’s essential to ask for references and by asking their references questions you gain a better understanding of they will fit in your family. As you get closer to hiring a nanny, be sure to run a background check to ensure your kids are in good hands. When evaluating a babysitter that you’re considering hiring, make sure you’re setting the foundation for a good relationship with your babysitter. You can do this by being clear about your expectations around babysitter responsibilities and compensation, and of course, by being friendly and welcoming!
And of course, as you learn how to hire a babysitter, Nanny Lane's nanny services are here to help you along the way.
