My name is Janelly, and I am from San Diego, CA. I have lived in Sacramento for 2.5 years now, and absolutely love it.
I recently graduated from Sacramento State with a Bachelor's Degree in Health Science, and also have an Associates Degree in General Studies of Social Sciences. I currently work at an elementary school in Sacramento that serves students in K-6th grade, and also have 2 years of background experience working as an athletic coach at a high school (9th-12th grade). I also have 3.5 years of experience working in higher education at a community college. I am certified/trained in pediatric & adult CPR & First Aid.
I enjoy working with kids, and getting to teach them new things, while also having them teach me new things. I enjoy the outdoors, Disney movies, and love baking in my free time.

A little bit about me
I grew up in Chicago with my six siblings. I run as the third oldest in my family so most of my free time I was taking care of the four youngest children. As I got older I would volunteer at my churches nursery and children classes. When I was finally old enough to get a job I babysat for two families for about a year.
When I turned 19 I moved to California just to adventure out. I’ve been living in Sacramento for about four years now and am loving every minute of it.

I recently left my long term sales job to go back to school so I can get my degree in business administration. I have a very big family which has taught me how to be nurturing and care for children. I’ve been caring for children off and on for a little over 5 years and have experience with ages ranging from 1 to 15 years.
I am an open book and if there is anything you would like to know about me that I did not mention please do not hesitate to reach out! I look forward to hearing from you! (:
