My first big job was for a local family where I lived who couldn't have kids so they adopted 4 and then had a surprise one of their very own. The first 4 were all under the age of 3 years old. I LOVED it! I love doing any care job, but I truly truly prefer newborn infants up to about 3 or 4, because not only do I take care of the kids, I Really enjoy helping people out like making sure the home is clean, the kids are bathed, fed and ready for bed so that when the parents get home there was nothing needing to be done instead of relaxing. I believe that's the way it should be. Infants make my entire life and Heart Smile (: I have Always treated them like I would my own because that's the way it should be. I moved to Hawaii to be a nanny at the age of 16 for a military couple with 3 girls and one on the way. Very hard work but I would never trade it for anything. I have no brothers or sisters myself, which so many people think us great because we get 'spoiled'. Or get whatever we want our way, but that's not how it is. I wanted a little sister since I was old enough to know that I would never be getting one. Being a nanny lets me be a part if a family who loves and cares for themselves, their kids and others and nothing makes me happier than to be a part of someone - being a nanny is so important to me, especially the newborns/infants. And ones I can read bedtime stories to (:

Hi! Starting off in middle school I would always watch my little brother after school until my parent got home. That was really about the time I started getting babysitting experience. When I got into high school I started babysitting more in my community. I've babysat all the way from one kid to 4, all different age groups. Also, I have experience with special needs kids. Over one summer I was a nanny over the span of 2 months for 2 younger girls. Also, my senior year I worked a Woodstock Elementary School as a after school teacher. That allowed me to get great childcare experience due to the amount of kids and different age groups I watched. I have also been a small group leader at Woodstock City Church for 5 years. I love spending time with kids and creating fun things to do with them. I am a very goofy, loving, outgoing person but I also know when to take things seriously. I put the child's care first to always make sure they're safe. Lastly, as a side note, I am CPR certified.

Alyssa B.

From working with Alyssa I have seen that she is very determined and has a kind heart. She is patient with children and finishes everything she puts her mind to. - Madeline

Alexis H.

Alexis is wonderful. She cared for my 2 boys like they were her family. They love her like a sister. As a single, working mom, child care is always a stressor. I never had to worry when she was around. She listened to them, played with them, and talked with them. Of course, she helped them with homework and had them do chores. I would sing her praises to anyone. - Stephanie
