Elizabeth E. - Seeking Work in Hillsborough
Elizabeth E.
Hillsborough$14.28/hr  |  < 1 yr experience
Hello! My name is Elizabeth, and I'm 32 years old. My husband and I moved to NC from Michigan, where I received my Bachelors of Science in Elementary Education & Child Development, about four years ago. I was a nanny for over eight years, while earning my way through college. I have cared for children ages infant to 15 years old, including special needs children & infant twins. I am a highly qualified, elementary teacher with a NC license. Although I have been very successful, and thoroughly enjoyed teaching in NC public schools, I have also enjoyed working in a part-time childcare position for over the past 1.5 years (20-month-old twins & a 4-year-old, 3 days/wk). I have no children of my own, so I will not have to bring an extra little person to work with me. I enjoy providing a safe, loving, and caring environment, for children to play and learn in. I am passionate about making a difference in the lives of children and of being great help to your family! I have a lot of experience, great references, and can bring a lot of great ideas, activities, and care to your family! I teach sign-language. I love to be outdoors, to swim,to create fun/educational games, make arts & crafts & take trips to libraries/museums. Reading to children is also a passion of mine. Meal preparation, bathing, providing reliable transportation, to and from activities, are a few of the services I will bring to your family. I am a pet-lover & canalso provide pet care (walks, vet visits, etc). I am very loyal, punctual, flexible, and loving. I look forward to meeting a wonderful family to share my talents with.
