I am a Midwife, and my husband is a Lawyer; we are looking for a live in nanny to help us with our children Sylvan (2 years), and Ruby(4 years).
We are organically minded and live as sustainably as we can. Our parenting philosophy is gentle, consistent and places emphasis on honesty, responsibility, communication and autonomy.
Nanny must have own car and be comfortable with commute to Trinity county on occasion if mom is at a birth and unable.

We value: play, fresh air, clean eating, kindness, mutual respect, communication, clear body boundaries, predictable routines, attachment parenting, and good communication.
Your hours:
8pm-10am Monday to Friday
10am -8pm Monday to Friday
Weekends off
I (mom) work on a rotating call schedule as a staff midwife for a busy birth center, my hours are very unpredictable. My husband and I split time, so you will not work all the hours listed but we do need on call coverage for the entirety of the working week. Weekends are your own.
Your responsibilities would include:
Preparing breakfast, lunch for the kids.
Clean up of breakfast and lunch.
Prepping snacks and making them available in the fridge.
After school home play and nature time with kids at home.
Cleanup of all kid related messes and meals.
Watching Sylvan while I am at work.
Sending updates.
Occasional grocery shopping.
Thursday date night - watch kids and bathe them, put them to bed or read stories with them until we get home.
Your choice of accommodations:
Bedroom in our home with access to your own bathroom.
A small tiny home with composting toilet, and outdoor shower.
A small 16ft yurt with deck, outdoor kitchen, outdoor shower, outdoor claw foot tub and composting toilet.
