We are currently seeking a highly experienced, nurturing, and professional Nanny/Household Manager to support a busy family with a 9 month old infant that was born as a premie. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in a similar role, specifically with infant care, and a proven track record of excellence in childcare and household management.
Responsibilities:
Providing quality, attentive care for the infant in employer's residence, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times
Assisting with all aspects of infant care including feeding, diapering, bathing, and establishing regular sleeping patterns
Engaging in age-appropriate developmental activities to stimulate physical and cognitive growth
Managing daily household tasks, such as running errands, meal planning and preparation, laundry, and light housekeeping
Maintaining a consistent routine for the infant and adjusting as necessary to their changing needs
Coordinating appointments such as medical and developmental check-ups
Traveling with the family as needed
Communicating effectively with parents regarding the infant's needs and milestones
Light meal prep, groceries put away, fruits and veggies washed and put away
Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years of professional nanny experience with a focus on infant care
Excellent references from previous employers
Proficiency in English, with strong communication skills; additional language skills would be an advantage
Current Infant First Aid and CPR certifications
Valid driver’s license with a clean record, background check is required.
Knowledgeable about infant nutrition, weaning and early years' developmental stages
Comfortable working in a home with pets as we have two small yorkies.
The ideal candidate will be patient, nurturing, and able to adapt to the dynamic needs of a growing infant while also keeping the household running smoothly. Commitment and reliability are key.
