A little bit about us
We are a busy young family looking for someone warm, steady, and wise to join our home in a long-term, supportive role. As our careers and children grow, we’re seeking help with the rhythms of daily life—someone who feels more like a surrogate grandmother than a babysitter or housekeeper. We need a gentle presence who loves children, understands family life, and enjoys helping a home run smoothly Monday through Friday.
About the Role
This is a dual-position involving:
• Light childcare (routines, play, supervision)
• Household support (light cleaning, organizing, simple tasks)
• Daily consistency and companionship for the children
• Helping our home function so we can focus on work and parenting
This is a reliable daily role paying $20/hr and including utilities and housing. Hours discussed individually.
Who We’re Looking For
Someone who is:
• Retired or semi-retired, new to employment or seeking meaningful work
• Warm, patient, grounded, and steady
• Naturally nurturing and loving toward children
• Reliable, trustworthy, and comfortable becoming part of our daily life
• Happy to support both childcare and household tasks
• Someone who sees this as true care work, not a stepping stone job
We especially welcome those who:
• Are Available to live with our family
• Enjoy being needed and appreciated
• Value routine, peace, and a sense of belonging
• Wants to grow with our family
Why This Role Matters
We are working hard to build stability while raising little ones—and we can’t do it alone. We hope to welcome someone who can be an anchor for our kids, bring familial warmth and life experience, and become a respected, appreciated part of our family’s fabric.
If this sounds like you—or someone you know—please reach out. We would love to meet you.
