Hello, I am Evelyn! I am 18 years old! I enjoy children and bond with them really well. I’ve babysat for families all around my church, and outside of church. My family did foster care for a long time and I’ve been introduced to over 60 children all with different disability, and some with no disabilities. My mother is a nurse practitioner, so she’s taught me a lot of medical things like CPR, how to help an infant that is choking, and basic first aid. I love to cook and bake, I enjoy cleaning. I was in the Marine Corp. I moved into my own apartment. Life is great!

Very involved in my church and instill Christian values in my children and try to lead with the best example. I am so excited to meet and be a part of your lives! Thank you for putting your faith in me!

P.S.
Although my profile says I am not CPR or First Aid certified, I do know how to administer CPR and First Aid on babies/children and adults. My fiancé is CPR and First Aid certified, but I am just needing a certificate.

I babysat for numerous families throughout high school. Grew up watching two younger siblings. I worked at a daycare for a year with all age groups ranging from six weeks to eighteen years. My primary class was after-schoolers ranging from five to eighteen year. I also worked with several special needs children with conditions such as autism, light to severe mental retardation, deafness, and severe emotional behavioral issues. I was responsible for the care of the children for ten to twelve hours a day. Three days a week I opened the center and was responsible for a room of children consisting of all age groups. I also served healthy snacks every day to the entire center. This position also required a lot of patience. It also required a lot of organizational skills for planning activities in science, arts and crafts, and other areas. From July 2008 to August 2009 I was a nanny for a wonderful family with a seven year old boy and twin girls that just turned five. I came in at 7:30 and usually stay until 6:00. I watched the girls throughout the morning. We went on many field trips such as museums, park, library(a weekly must), mall, and numerous errands for their mom. I did light housekeeping and was a mother's helper. I watched the son after school and ran the kids around to all their activites like soccer, karate, and dance. I also cooked meals throughout the day. Since September 2009,I've been working with a family with triplets, two boys and a girl. I've been with them since they were three weeks old and now are almost four. They just got accepted into school and I am sad to leave them but excited to find a new family to work for. I taught the children things like ABC's, numbers, counting, colors, some basic Spanish, and relational terms. We really enjoy coloring and playing outside! I also do laundry, meals, baths, and light house cleaning. I also helped with potty training. They are great kids and I have loved working for them.

I have been babysitting since I was 12 years old. In high school I sat for one particular family 4 days a week. I was also nanny for a year for a family with two children (18 mo. and 3 years). I graduated from college with a degree in Human Development and Family Studies with a focus in Child Development. Throughout college I worked at the on-campus preschool with children ages three to five. After college I worked in an amazing preschool as a toddler teacher with 13 two and a half year olds.

From the ages 13- 15 I babysat two girls, amy-2-4 yrs, and stephanie 8-10yrs. I would generly watch them from 3pm to around 9pm, mon- friday. During which time, I would make sure there were both fed, that they were both bathed, I helped the younger one just in case, we would go to the park in the neighborhood and play with the ducks, and at the pool, and I would get them ready for bed  and in bed before their parents made it home. From the ages 15-17, I watched my three young cousins on the weekend. Kayla was 3-5yrs, Ashlynn was 3-5yrs, and jemey was 6mths- 2 years. During this time I would feed and bath all of them. Change the youngest ones diapers, I would prepare and feed them, I would bath them if nessacry, and we would play until they fell asleep, or until my cousins would come to pick them up. Up until recently I was also watching my friends 9 month old son. It wasnt a set scheadual, but when I did have him, I would have to prepare his bottels, stick to a very precise fedding schedual, I would have to change and sometimes bath him as well.
