A little bit about me

I’m 24 years old and absolutely love working with little ones. I currently work at primrose and have experience with nannying and specialize in young infant to toddler age groups (but can absolutely work with any age group!). I love spending time to really get to know the kids I care for and know how important it is to get updates and pictures throughout the day especially with those little ones!! Flexible with working hours and great with getting kids into daily routines. Would love to get you know you and your kiddos!!!

A little bit about me

I love working with children! My first experience with children was volunteering to teach CCD (church school) at my church. My first paid job working with children was at Topkick Martial arts for about 2 years with kids ranging from 5-11 years old. I helped them with homework, snack time, and getting dressed for class.
My first Nanny job I worked for 9 months with 2 kids (11/16). I bought groceries, drove them anywhere they needed to go, cooked dinner, packed lunch, clean, did laundry, and other chores the parents wanted me to do.
My recent nanny job I worked for 10 months. I met this amazing baby girl at 4 months -14 months. I cooked, fed, changed, cleaned, did tummy time, reading, flashcards, practiced sitting, standing, walking. I made a set schedule on her nap time, playtime, and feeding time. I also took a class in high school as teacher cadet and received a certificate from Shenandoah University. I was CPR certified in my early year in high-school.

When finalizing the details of your full-time nanny position, it’s important to make sure that everyone is on the same page. The easiest way to do this is to create a job offer for your full-time nanny position.

In your full-time nanny job offer, you should communicate the responsibilities and compensation. In writing out the responsibilities of your full-time nanny, you might also choose to add some responsibilities that are specific to your families’ needs like if you expect your full-time nanny to travel with you and the details around travelling with your live-in nanny. When considering what it means for your full-time nanny when you take vacation, you should also consider how you want to handle their vacation time, and other aspects of their compensation. This includes a full-time nanny salary, over-time, benefits, and any expenses like food and gas. After presenting your job offer, you can create a contract for your full-time nanny to create the foundation for a good relationship with your nanny. And of course, as you learn how to hire a full-time nanny, Nanny Lane's nanny services are here to help you along the way.
