A little bit about us

Hello, we are looking for a nanny in Chicago for 2 girls aged 6 and 9. Most of all, we're looking for someone loving who loves spending time with kids!
The girls go to Lab school and we live in Lincoln Park, so driving is needed. We are looking for somebody who can help with some house management before pick up (errands, returns, organizing things, walking the dog, ...) and then pick the girls up from school, drive them to activities, help them with homework and have fun with them! We are happy either with 25hours [phone number hidden]) or with 40 hours [phone number hidden]). The important thing is that the nanny is flexible and willing to be with the girls whole day (8:30am-6:30pm) in the no school days and when they are home sick. We are also happy to add a regular weekly date night, but it is not necessary.

A little bit about us

The quick details: Flexible days and times. Needed 5 hours per day, 3 days per week. We have a 2 month old that is very sweet and not a difficult baby. 1 parent works from home so can assist and the other works from home 3 days per week.

The long details: The Ideal Nanny would be someone that become close with us and our child as she grows. We're not looking for a "sitter" we're looking for a long term nanny.

A typical day would be something like: Start around 9-10 am, she usually likes to go for a morning walk so that would be first. We live next to a beautiful park, and the lakefront, as well as Maggie Daley park. Then afterwards she naps for 30 mins or so. She'd need to eat when she wakes up so it'll be feeding her next. Then she usually likes to play or be read to. After that there is sort of a wildcard as sometimes she's tired, or hungry, or still wants to play more. We're open to your thoughts on activities. Another walk is always fun for her.

That's pretty much a full day, leave around 3:00. We're flexible on hours and pay. We are excited to find someone to work with.

Looking for a loving, experienced caretaker to watch our babes when I transition back to work full time. Guaranteed 30+ hrs/week. Needs to be comfortable with me working out of the home. We have a 2yr old dog (Zola), but she will most likely be at daycare 2-3 days/week. Light housework and meal prep (nothing more extravagant than a crockpot meal or casserole--all ingredients on hand) can factor into hr wage. Cash only (Zelle, Venmo, etc). Shoot me a note if you're interested and we can set up a call!
