A little bit about us

I have two daughters that love to read, play, and be outside. If you are willing to play with the children, read to them, and keep a safe eye on them while they play outside and are comfortable with cats and a dog then this might be for you. We homeschool so we have plenty of play-based learning opportunities available to you to utilize, an enormous library of books to read, and will need to help the oldest stay on track to complete a few assignments as needed. We prefer our children to be actively engaged, playing, reading or being read to, and doing art activities. Screen time is limited and should be used only for educational reasons when needed. We require anyone who spends a great deal of time with our children to align with gentle parenting techniques and be a positive role model to the children. Other responsibilities would include keeping the children on track with their chores, tidying up the space after meals, play, and art along with the children. For instance, running the remote vacuum, getting animals fed, sweeping after meals, unloading and reloading the dishwasher and doing simple dishes after meals, wiping off counters and the table after meals or use, and ensuring toys, books, and supplies are put away after use. These are responsibilities and chores of the children but being young they need assistance.

I am currently in negotiations regarding the days that I will be in the office so the exact days are not yet known. Hours will be around my husband's hours who works 5 minutes from home so we will need you here from 7:45 am - 6 pm.

Interviewing for a Housekeeper Nanny Position in St. Louis, MI

After talking to a few employers, you’ll be invited for a housekeeping nanny job interview. Here are a few housekeeping nanny interview questions to prepare for:

  • What qualities do you have that make you a good housekeeping nanny?
  • What do you enjoy about looking after a home?
  • How many years of experience do you have with house cleaning?

In a housekeeping nanny job interview, you’ll have the opportunity to provide your nanny references and ask any questions that you would like to know about them.
