This position is a 1099 independent contractor role, not a W-2 employee position.
Schedule and Hours
Minimum of thirty hours per week during weekday daytime hours. Additional hours may be available by mutual discussion. A thirty day probationary period will apply to ensure a strong mutual fit.
Compensation
Hourly range of ten to sixteen dollars per hour, based on experience and fit. Payment is issued weekly via Zelle, Cash App, or Venmo.
Travel Opportunities
As we build a working relationship, there may be opportunities for domestic and international travel, discussed and agreed upon in advance.
Key Responsibilities
Provide constant supervision and ensure the child is never left unattended. Maintain a calm, structured daily routine. Engage in sensory play, hands-on learning, and independent play. Support gross and fine motor development, language growth, and emotional regulation. Prepare meals, snacks, and bottles as directed, encourage self-feeding, and clean feeding items after use. Follow nap routines based on the child’s cues. Keep play areas clean, organized, and safe. Supervise outdoor play, stroller walks, and physical activity. Communicate daily updates and maintain confidentiality at all times.
Ideal Candidate
Nurturing, patient, dependable, experienced with toddlers, safety-focused, organized, flexible, and comfortable working in a home where a parent may be present but unavailable. Must understand and agree to independent contractor status.
We are looking for someone who truly enjoys supporting children during their early developmental years and takes pride in creating a safe, engaging, and loving environment.
