Schedule & Availability
Regular Care:
• After-school care Monday–Friday from 2:30 PM to 6:30 PM
Duties include meeting him at the bus supporting his transition home, helping with homework, preparing simple dinner, and guiding his evening routine.
Care is needed during school breaks and summer, including:
• Staff workdays
• Long weekends
• Spring Break
• Full summer months
No care is needed on major holidays such as Thanksgiving Day or Christmas Day. Flexibility and reliability during out-of-school periods is essential.

Required Qualifications
Applicants must:
• Be 18 years or older
• Have a high school diploma or GED
• Read, speak, and write in English
• Annually pass a tuberculosis (TB) test and physical
• Pass state and federal background checks
• Have at least one year of experience working with children (experience with autism preferred)
• Be CPR and First Aid certified
• Complete 20 hours of early childhood training, including safe sleep and child abuse/neglect reporting
• Annually submit proof of CPR/First Aid certification, TB test results, and 10 additional hours of training
(CDA or ECE degrees can be used in place of basic training requirements)
