Looking for someone that would be able to help cook meals, basic cleaning and tidying up, laundry, errands (groceries) and sometimes help out with our 2 girls (ages 7 and 9).
What we really need is someone that is able to come in and take over some of the house management. My wife and I are pretty busy with work and kids activities and we can’t always be in different places. My wife’s father has been staying with us but he’s in his mid 70’s and has Parkinson’s and needs assistance sometimes as well.
We would love to find someone that is neat and organized and can help tidy up so the house doesn’t implode because we’re so busy or unavailable. Relieving some of that mental load capacity would be huge for our families success and sanity!

Hello! We are looking to hire a Family Assistant; The Family Assistant role combines childcare responsibilities with personal assistant tasks. This hybrid position requires someone organized, adaptable, and compassionate. You’ll be an essential part of the family’s daily life, supporting both parents and our children (5 & 7 yrs old). Supervise children during after-school hours (typically 2:45 to 6 pm).
Assist with homework, meal preparation, making sure baths are completed.

Transportation: meeting children at bus stop after school and walking home or taking them to scheduled activities.
Homework Assistance: Helping with homework and educational tasks.
Household Chores:
Use the hours before the kids are home to handle household tasks (e.g., laundry, tidying up, grocery shopping (via Instacart)).
Tidying Up: Keeping the home environment clean and organized.
Help manage household schedules and appointments (particularly for children)
Making beds & organizing parts of the home.
Meal prep: for snacks and dinner.
Pet Care: Feeding pets and watering plants.
Additional Tasks could include:
Running Errands: mailing returns, scheduling with vendors (example: dry cleaning pick up or donations coordination).
