My husband, Eric, and I are looking for an energetic, dedicated, reliable and caring nanny for our 1 year old daughter. I work as a neonatology fellow at Primary Children's Hospital and Eric works from home as a software engineer. We are interested in someone that has previous experience working with infants and toddlers. Expectations include developmentally appropriate care of our daughter during the day - she loves music, reading books, waving "hi", eating, swinging and playing at the playground, and getting outside every day on walks. We are searching for someone that will create a stimulating environment including frequent conversation, games, etc. We would like someone comfortable taking Isla on excursions to Sugarhouse park nearby, museums, the zoo and her scheduled music and gymnastic classes. Other expectations include light meal-prep and housework and driving Isla to and from her activities in your personal vehicle. Non-smoking only. CPR certification a plus.

Hello! Our little guy is starting full day preschool in the fall (September) so we actually only need occasional after school care and possibly full day care on days where he doesn’t have school through the [phone number hidden] school year. We will need more full day care for a couple of weeks in August when I go back to work and his preschool hasn’t started yet.
Otherwise, he’ll need to be picked up at 3 pm in Holladay and taken to our home in sugarhouse, given a snack, and just watched after for an hour or two. I work until 3 pm so can get him on most days but I have meetings after work sometimes that go until 4 or 5 pm. I try not to be any later than 5. Some months are busier than others. It’s typically only 1-2 times per week that we need after school care, give or take. Some weeks we won’t need any and others we may need 2 days. So we would need someone that can be flexible and available occasionally.
A little bit about our son- he is obsessed with excavators, hockey, crocodiles right now, and playing in his imagination. He is quite adorable, intelligent, and sweet. He’s very active and loves to play, ride his bike and scooter, and be outside. We really want him playing outside as much as possible, and we haven’t yet introduced screens to him. He loves to read books. We have a park around the corner from our house so it’s very easy to get him out to the park.
