A little bit about me

Hi! My name is Piper Winston, and I’m a 19-year-old college student who loves working with children.

I grew up helping in my mom’s kindergarten classroom and took Early Childhood Education classes in high school. I also worked at the Early Learning Center at Brook Park in Lawrence Township, as well as in before- and after-school care.

I have also worked at a children’s day camp at DaySpring homeless shelter and volunteered at Brook Park Elementary School. These experiences have helped me become patient, kind, responsible, and flexible when working with children.

I am First Aid and CPR certified, and I always put children’s safety first. I also have an 11-year-old sister whom I’ve helped care for her whole life, giving me plenty of experience with activities, homework, routines, and everyday care.

I truly enjoy working with children and would love the opportunity to help care for your family!

A little bit about me

I have spent over 30 years working in early childhood education, with more than 23 of those years serving as a Preschool Director. Caring for children, helping them grow, and building meaningful relationships with families has always been my passion. After years of leading schools, I am looking forward to stepping away from the administrative side of education and getting back to what I love most—working directly with children. I am CPR certified, dependable, nurturing, patient, and experienced with children of all ages. I believe childhood should be filled with laughter, learning, creativity, outdoor adventures, and lots of love. I come with wonderful professional and personal references and would love the opportunity to find an amazing family where I can make a positive difference.

Common Responsibilities of Housekeeper Nannies in Indianapolis, IN

When evaluating if a housekeeping nanny is right for your family, it’s important to consider what makes housekeeping nannies distinct from nannies. Both a housekeeping nanny and a nanny are responsible for creating a safe and stimulating environment. These responsibilities can include organizing activities, preparing meals, handling child-related errands as well as others. However, a housekeeping nanny usually takes on cleaning and maintenance for the entire home and family. In contrast, a nanny focuses exclusively on cleaning for the children such as the playroom, children's laundry, etc. A housekeeping nanny offers these services to the entire home and family, including laundry, cleaning bathrooms, mopping, and vacuuming.

A housekeeping nanny can be a full-time, part-time, or live-in position. It is essential to take these factors into account when determining how much you should pay a housekeeping nanny.
