A little bit about me
I started sitting for a few families here and there around 14 years old, and my experience has only grown since. In high school, I had around 5-6 families that I regularly babysat for during the weeks, on the weekends, and a few weeks in the summer. In college, I picked up babysitting shifts anytime I was free and one was available. Now that I have graduated college and settled into Asheville, I would love to find a good fit with a family and create a real bond with the kids.
I have the most experience with children ages 1 month old to 8 years old, but am comfortable with working with any ages. I am certified in infant CPR, CPR, and First Aid by the American Red Cross. I am willing to do laundry, meal prep, run errands and any other household chores in addition to providing childcare.
The most important thing to me as a nanny is not only caring for the children but also using our time together to make memories, be adventurous, learn something new, and be good people to one another and others around us. I am nanny that will create fun indoor-outdoor games like scavenger hunts, nature walks, fort building, and much more for the kids. I will make lunch time fun, teach them, be patient with them and answer their questions, protect them, and be stern when needed but also be their friend. I am also a nanny who knows the importance to cleaning up after activities, meals, and any other time.

A little bit about me
I am a ceramic artist and educator with a passion for making creative spaces. I have been working as a certified and trained in-home care provider since 2016. I am comfortable with children from the ages of 2 months and upwards, and I have experience working with multiples and children with special needs. I am always willing to meet the child and family where they are and grow from there.
I love to spend time outdoors and like to stay moving - I consider myself a self starter. I don't use screen time as play, and would much rather go for a walk to the park, pick up a book from the library, or make up a game.
Looking forward to new connections!

Common Responsibilities of Housekeeper Nannies in Asheville, NC
When evaluating if a housekeeping nanny is right for your family, it’s important to consider what makes housekeeping nannies distinct from nannies. Both a housekeeping nanny and a nanny are responsible for creating a safe and stimulating environment. These responsibilities can include organizing activities, preparing meals, handling child-related errands as well as others. However, a housekeeping nanny usually takes on cleaning and maintenance for the entire home and family. In contrast, a nanny focuses exclusively on cleaning for the children such as the playroom, children's laundry, etc. A housekeeping nanny offers these services to the entire home and family, including laundry, cleaning bathrooms, mopping, and vacuuming.
A housekeeping nanny can be a full-time, part-time, or live-in position. It is essential to take these factors into account when determining how much you should pay a housekeeping nanny.
