A little bit about me
My name is Carly; I am 29 years old and have been working, professionally, in child care for 5 years.
I moved here to North Carolina from California, February 2025.
For the past four months I have been homeschooling a 12 year old boy who struggles with ADD and dyslexia.
While in California, I was working for the Campbell Union School District as an aftercare teacher at an elementary school. Through the years, I have been an assistant teacher, nanny, and program coordinator for the children's department at the YMCA.
I enjoy being outdoors; arts and crafts; psychology, and law. I graduated Magna Cum Laude with my AA in Corrections from DeAnza.
I believe children are our future; having a strong, healthy support system so they have every opportunity to thrive is paramount. I would love to be a part of that support system for your family.
Feel free to reach out with any questions! Thank you for taking the time to read my profile.

How to Hire a Housekeeper Nanny in Mooresville, NC
On Nanny Lane, you can find a housekeeping nanny in Mooresville, NC. Our nanny services include background checks, a hiring agent, and nanny payroll. Start by posting a profile with a job description and then, you can start talking to candidates about your housekeeping nanny position.
Common Responsibilities of Housekeeper Nannies in Mooresville, NC
When evaluating if a housekeeping nanny is right for your family, it’s important to consider what makes housekeeping nannies distinct from nannies. Both a housekeeping nanny and a nanny are responsible for creating a safe and stimulating environment. These responsibilities can include organizing activities, preparing meals, handling child-related errands as well as others. However, a housekeeping nanny usually takes on cleaning and maintenance for the entire home and family. In contrast, a nanny focuses exclusively on cleaning for the children such as the playroom, children's laundry, etc. A housekeeping nanny offers these services to the entire home and family, including laundry, cleaning bathrooms, mopping, and vacuuming.
A housekeeping nanny can be a full-time, part-time, or live-in position. It is essential to take these factors into account when determining how much you should pay a housekeeping nanny.
