A little bit about me
My name is Ashley. I have babysitting, daycare & nanny experience. I have been taking care of children since I was about 10 years old. When I was younger I babysat for friends/family and then moved on to a daycare for 4 years. Soon, I met my 1st family that I nannied for. Since then I have worked for 6 families over the past 14 years.
Experience: diaper changes, feeding bottles/baby food, naptime, small household chores; vacuuming, laundry, meal prep etc, playing and being active with children, and more. I’ve worked with children of all ages and having worked in a daycare center I am very hands on and I'm used to taking care of multiple kids. I enjoy the outdoors, arts and crafts, watching children learn, grow and more.
Currently looking for a summer position:

-3 days a week, flexibility of 4
-20-30 hours, flexibility for more

A little more about me; I have my Bachelors Degree from the University of Pennsylvania in Science and I own my own financial practice. My day to day operations are managed by my team, so I’m pretty flexible as far as scheduling is concerned. I absolutely adore children and babies so being a nanny has been very fulfilling for me. If you have any additional questions, please feel free to message me. Thank you for your consideration. - LeeAnn

A little bit about me
My experience, and as a mother and grandmother, is to not give in to or reward temper tantrums. In my experience, I choose to wait it out…. I LISTEN to my children and speak back to them. In my experience there is often (not always) something else causing them to become so upset. Tired, hungry, upset about something else. I just need to listen…. Depending on the age I may try to distract them with one of there toys (we likely already brought with us.)
How are you going to help my baby, who has been with very few strangers, cope with the separation anxiety that may happen?
In the ideal we will have a short transition period, where your baby can become familiar with me with the security of mom/dad nearby. This would include short periods where mom/dad leave and then return. During these periods your baby will become accustomed to their regular routines, albeit with a different adult. In my experience babies and young children are so self-focused, when we maintain consistency addressing their needs, they are less anxious.
How we should spend a typical day. I must consider your parenting style. We should avoid one “parental” direction during the day, and another at night. Perhaps you want your children outside getting dirty, rain or shine? Perhaps you encourage structured “screen” time? (Though most likely a balance of both…)
Learning age appropriate meal preparation. Younger kids learn to set the table (plastic cups, nothing sharp or as is age appropriate), measuring, mixing… nothing hot. Older kids can do more. Always supervised.
I enjoy reading to younger children. We don’t need to follow the story as written either. We add sounds and personalities. Maybe act out some of the scenes? Wherever their imagination leads us…
I think we should enjoy at least a couple of hours each day outside.

How to Hire a Housekeeper Nanny in Parsippany-Troy Hills, NJ
On Nanny Lane, you can find a housekeeping nanny in Parsippany-Troy Hills, NJ. Our nanny services include background checks, PLUS, and nanny payroll. Start by posting a profile with a job description and then, you can start talking to candidates about your housekeeping nanny position.
Common Responsibilities of Housekeeper Nannies in Parsippany-Troy Hills, NJ
When evaluating if a housekeeping nanny is right for your family, it’s important to consider what makes housekeeping nannies distinct from nannies. Both a housekeeping nanny and a nanny are responsible for creating a safe and stimulating environment. These responsibilities can include organizing activities, preparing meals, handling child-related errands as well as others. However, a housekeeping nanny usually takes on cleaning and maintenance for the entire home and family. In contrast, a nanny focuses exclusively on cleaning for the children such as the playroom, children's laundry, etc. A housekeeping nanny offers these services to the entire home and family, including laundry, cleaning bathrooms, mopping, and vacuuming.
A housekeeping nanny can be a full-time, part-time, or live-in position. It is essential to take these factors into account when determining how much you should pay a housekeeping nanny.
Contracts for Housekeeper Nannies in Parsippany-Troy Hills, NJ
A contract provides an excellent opportunity to ensure that everyone is on the same page. By writing out a job offer for your housekeeping nanny position, you’ll create clear expectations for both your family and the housekeeping nanny..
In your housekeeping nanny job offer, you should communicate the responsibilities and compensation. This should be a detailed list focusing on all their responsibilities. We recommend running a background check on the candidates for your housekeeping nanny position at this point. You should provide a job offer that is dependent upon the results of the background check.
When you present your job offer create a safe place for your housekeeping nanny to ask any questions. Once the details are finalized, you can create a contract for your housekeeping nanny. Through the process of creating and discussing the job offer and contract, you’re building the foundation for a good relationship with your nanny where you both can ask questions and hold each other accountable.
