A little bit about us

I need a nanny for my baby girl. I work from home so I don’t mind pitching in when I need to if I can and she’s our first so maybe we hover a little but just a little. And my husband is home with her until we can find someone that fits. Once that happens he will go to work and we would need more hours of course. So give us a call if you are interested. Currently Tuesday and Wednesday 9-2pm she’s just likes to see outside and eat and play. She likes books mostly to chew on lol but she’s a sweet heart. We don’t need anything else just for someone to spend time with her talk and walk with her, while I work and he’s away on those days.

A little bit about us

Our son Bennett is 7 weeks old. We're looking for a great nanny that can come in the morning when me and my wife go to work. She'll get off most days around 1:00 but some days will be a little bit later. Some weeks will be 5 days a week and some will be 3 days a week. Responsibilities will be hanging with Bennett at our house and feeding him, playing with him, changing him. The basics. We're sweat little family and would treat you like family as well.

A little bit about us

Looking for a nanny to care for my 3 month old starting late May to August two days a week. Our daycare spot doesn’t open up until August, so this would be a short-term need. You would care for him at our home while my husband and I work from home. We have one dog who is very sweet but there would be no expectation for you to care for the dog or do anything around the house besides care for our son.

What is an Infant Nanny in Birmingham, AL

An infant nanny is a nanny that specializes in caring for newborns. They are skilled in diapering and providing care for any rashes, swaddling, bathing, feeding, and burping. Some infant nannies further specialize in care for premature newborns or multiples.

Preparing for a Nanny Interview for an Infant Care Position

Once you start connecting with prospective employers, the next step is an infant nanny job interview. Here is a list of some infant nanny interview questions to prepare for:

  • What is your specific experience with this age group?
  • Are you Infant CPR/First Aid certified in Birmingham, AL? Are you willing to be trained?
  • How do you handle a crying baby?
  • How often do you usually offer parents updates during the day?
  • What do you feed an infant? At 0-3 months? 3-6 months? 6-9 months? 9-12 months?
  • How do you set up the infant’s crib for a nap?
  • What kind of activities will you plan to engage my baby?

You should be prepared with your references for past nanny jobs, and ideally, past infant jobs. Prior to the infant nanny interview, be sure to think about questions that you might have for the family. This is a great time to ask questions about the responsibilities and compensation for the infant nanny position. To make sure everyone has a shared understanding of the role and responsibilities, we recommend asking for a job offer or a nanny contract. By doing this, you can get off on the right foot with your future employer.
