We have two boys (3yr and 8yr) and a little girl (almost 1!). Our boys are super fun and full of energy, and our daughter is a sweet little snuggle bug (for now). Our 8yr old is in 3rd grade and will be in school most of the day and our 3yr old is planning to start preschool soon.
I (mom) will be home a good portion of the time, and just need a bit of help. Looking for help 12pm-5pm M-F with an occasional date night! Some responsibilities would include: caring for the kids and light housework (dishes, helping with kids laundry, tidying playroom).
We also have two big dogs and a cat, so must be animal friendly :)

We have a 2 year old daughter at home, so we are hoping to find someone to help us during the busy newborn season with overnight shifts.
This position will be 9pm - 7am, Monday, Wednesday and Friday, and will require some light housework (washing bottles, assisting with laundry, etc) in addition to feeding, burping, diaper changes, and resettling the girls for sleep. We need someone very reliable, responsible and clean. Recent CPR and First-Aid certification is required.
Due to the nature of this position, we will be conducting background checks and thorough reference reviews, so please provide at least 3 references!

The ideal nanny would have previous experience with babies and be certified in infant CPR. We are looking for someone confident with bottle warmings + pace feedings, diaper changes and playful wake & tummy times. During sleep windows would love help with baby’s laundry and just making sure the dishes aren’t stacking up.
We are an outgoing family who enjoys hiking and camping in taking in the beauty of the outdoors. We have a sweet dog who is 16yrs old who loves everyone and spends most of her time curled in her bed sleeping or sniffing for squirrels in the yard.
We are hoping to have someone who is looking for a family to nanny for and grow with, rather than just a summer babysitting job.

Preparing for a Nanny Interview for an Infant Care Position
Once you start connecting with prospective employers, the next step is an infant nanny job interview. Here is a list of some infant nanny interview questions to prepare for:
- What is your specific experience with this age group?
- Are you Infant CPR/First Aid certified in Idaho Falls, ID? Are you willing to be trained?
- How do you handle a crying baby?
- How often do you usually offer parents updates during the day?
- What do you feed an infant? At 0-3 months? 3-6 months? 6-9 months? 9-12 months?
- How do you set up the infant’s crib for a nap?
- What kind of activities will you plan to engage my baby?
You should be prepared with your references for past nanny jobs, and ideally, past infant jobs. Prior to the infant nanny interview, be sure to think about questions that you might have for the family. This is a great time to ask questions about the responsibilities and compensation for the infant nanny position. To make sure everyone has a shared understanding of the role and responsibilities, we recommend asking for a job offer or a nanny contract. By doing this, you can get off on the right foot with your future employer.
