A little bit about us

We are looking for a great nanny for 2 children in Kuna. We would prefer a nanny who has their own car, who does not smoke and who is CPR certified. This job is a part time job with varying hours during the week based off my husbands schedule. we are looking for someone very attentive and patient. We have 2 boys close in age and can be difficult at times to care for both so we would prefer someone with the plenty of experience with infants and toddlers. pay range depends on experience but somewhere between 16-17 an hour

A little bit about us

I just need a little help watching my little guy. I am currently working from home full-time, but need to start working in the office one - two days a week. He is the sweetest, chillest little dude. I need someone that could take care of him when I go into the office. We do also have two dogs - one little gal (chihuahua/terrier mix) and a rescue puppy - so you would have to be comfortable with dogs too. You would be welcome to play with the pups, but care for them would not be necessary.

The starting hours would be Tuesday and Thursday 9AM - 5PM

What is an Infant Nanny in Kuna, ID

Preparing for a Nanny Interview for an Infant Care Position

Once you start connecting with prospective employers, the next step is an infant nanny job interview. Here is a list of some infant nanny interview questions to prepare for:

  • What is your specific experience with this age group?
  • Are you Infant CPR/First Aid certified in Kuna, ID? Are you willing to be trained?
  • How do you handle a crying baby?
  • How often do you usually offer parents updates during the day?
  • What do you feed an infant? At 0-3 months? 3-6 months? 6-9 months? 9-12 months?
  • How do you set up the infant’s crib for a nap?
  • What kind of activities will you plan to engage my baby?

You should be prepared with your references for past nanny jobs, and ideally, past infant jobs. Prior to the infant nanny interview, be sure to think about questions that you might have for the family. This is a great time to ask questions about the responsibilities and compensation for the infant nanny position. To make sure everyone has a shared understanding of the role and responsibilities, we recommend asking for a job offer or a nanny contract. By doing this, you can get off on the right foot with your future employer.
