A little bit about us

Work in Lincoln, concord area Sunday to Thursday 8am to 4pm so I need to be out latest 7:20am and return at about 4:40pm latest. I stay in Ayer with my cousin and her fiancé. My daughter is 6 months old, easy going, smiles a lot and is friendly. She has a fixed routine for now- wakes up takes water then food, plays sleeps and wakes. She hardly cries except when she feels scared or alone. Is fussy when sleepy or needs a diaper change or wants cuddles. She loves cuddles, phones and cocomelon. Currently having itchy gums so she tries to put everything in her mouth.

A little bit about us

We have twins born at the beginning of November and are looking for full time 40 hours per week care for them, we may be able to be flexible and provide fewer hours if desirable. We would be looking for care beginning in the spring/early summer. We have 2 dogs so someone who is comfortable around dogs is necessary although no care other than letting them in and out the front door into the yard would be necessary. One dog is reactive and requires time to get used to new people. Someone with infant experience is required and experience working with twins or two children very close in age is preferable.

What is an Infant Nanny in Ayer, MA

Preparing for a Nanny Interview for an Infant Care Position

Once you start connecting with prospective employers, the next step is an infant nanny job interview. Here is a list of some infant nanny interview questions to prepare for:

  • What is your specific experience with this age group?
  • Are you Infant CPR/First Aid certified in Ayer, MA? Are you willing to be trained?
  • How do you handle a crying baby?
  • How often do you usually offer parents updates during the day?
  • What do you feed an infant? At 0-3 months? 3-6 months? 6-9 months? 9-12 months?
  • How do you set up the infant’s crib for a nap?
  • What kind of activities will you plan to engage my baby?

You should be prepared with your references for past nanny jobs, and ideally, past infant jobs. Prior to the infant nanny interview, be sure to think about questions that you might have for the family. This is a great time to ask questions about the responsibilities and compensation for the infant nanny position. To make sure everyone has a shared understanding of the role and responsibilities, we recommend asking for a job offer or a nanny contract. By doing this, you can get off on the right foot with your future employer.
