A little bit about us

Hi! I’m looking for a nanny share for my 2 super cute little ones (age 2 and 2 months).
I'm super flexible, it would be great if you watch other children or had a child of your own to play with my 2-year-old. Willing to drop off at your home or have you come to mine. Ultimately, just looking for someone reliable and fun! Schedule is also flexible, willing to flex days as needed. Ideal hours would be approx 7:30-8ish AM to 4:30ish PM on Monday, Tuesday and Thursdays.

A little bit about us

Looking for childcare 2-3 days per week for our 4 month old and 20 month old while we are at work. The hours would be from around 2pm-midnight. Responsibilities would include playing with the kids, feeding our toddler dinner, and putting both kids to bed around 730 pm. Both babies are easygoing and love to play, listen to music and read books. We also have a 4 year old lab mix who is very low maintenance and loves to just relax on the couch or in his crate. The days we would need a sitter will vary week to week, but we are looking for about 20-30 hours per week.

What is an Infant Nanny in Seekonk, MA

Preparing for a Nanny Interview for an Infant Care Position

Once you start connecting with prospective employers, the next step is an infant nanny job interview. Here is a list of some infant nanny interview questions to prepare for:

  • What is your specific experience with this age group?
  • Are you Infant CPR/First Aid certified in Seekonk, MA? Are you willing to be trained?
  • How do you handle a crying baby?
  • How often do you usually offer parents updates during the day?
  • What do you feed an infant? At 0-3 months? 3-6 months? 6-9 months? 9-12 months?
  • How do you set up the infant’s crib for a nap?
  • What kind of activities will you plan to engage my baby?

You should be prepared with your references for past nanny jobs, and ideally, past infant jobs. Prior to the infant nanny interview, be sure to think about questions that you might have for the family. This is a great time to ask questions about the responsibilities and compensation for the infant nanny position. To make sure everyone has a shared understanding of the role and responsibilities, we recommend asking for a job offer or a nanny contract. By doing this, you can get off on the right foot with your future employer.
