A little bit about us

I'm a Stay at home mom with PPD that needs help! My boys are only 13 months apart and I am just beyond burnt out and overwhelmed. I'm looking for someone to at first just come to the house during the weekday and just help me with my boys then after a time perhaps I could actually go back to work a couple days a week with my husband. My main issue is PPD and I just feel like I cannot give both boys the amount of attention they need. At 7 months and two years old they both have completely different needs and I'm just drowning. And I feel like my youngest one is always fending for himself while I'm trying to keep my older one from getting into everything, getting hurt, etc. Haven't even been able to begin potty training! Anyway, so I just really need some help, or perhaps a mom friend! You could bring your kids if you have any!

Update!!
My two boys just finally made it into the early Head start program. I've been on the list for like 3 years. So no I'm not in need of a sitter but I'm in need of transportation. I'm unable to drive right now and my husband could bring them to school but I'm looking for someone that would be willing to get paid to just pick them up from school and bring them home to me here in Wiscasset. It would be starting on September 6 Monday through Friday. They would need to get picked up at the New Castle Head start at 300pm Monday -Friday and just brought home to my house in Wiscasset.

Please let me know if you are interested in a position for nannying and if you'd be interested in (discussing terms of course) being my transportation nanny?!

What is an Infant Nanny in Wiscasset, ME

Preparing for a Nanny Interview for an Infant Care Position

Once you start connecting with prospective employers, the next step is an infant nanny job interview. Here is a list of some infant nanny interview questions to prepare for:

  • What is your specific experience with this age group?
  • Are you Infant CPR/First Aid certified in Wiscasset, ME? Are you willing to be trained?
  • How do you handle a crying baby?
  • How often do you usually offer parents updates during the day?
  • What do you feed an infant? At 0-3 months? 3-6 months? 6-9 months? 9-12 months?
  • How do you set up the infant’s crib for a nap?
  • What kind of activities will you plan to engage my baby?

You should be prepared with your references for past nanny jobs, and ideally, past infant jobs. Prior to the infant nanny interview, be sure to think about questions that you might have for the family. This is a great time to ask questions about the responsibilities and compensation for the infant nanny position. To make sure everyone has a shared understanding of the role and responsibilities, we recommend asking for a job offer or a nanny contract. By doing this, you can get off on the right foot with your future employer.
