A little bit about us
We are looking for someone to come to our house starting at the beginning of January during work hours. We want this person to become great friends with Luke - someone to play with him and give him the attention he needs. Luke isn't interested in the boring stuff that mom and dad have to do during the day at work.
We are looking for a long term-fit and someone that could become another member of our family.

Pay: $[phone number hidden] DOQ (would be on the higher end during summer when care is for all three children)
Expectations: Childcare, laundry for children, light pick-up after children (they should help), meal prep for children, school pick-up/drop-off for the oldest (it is only 3 blocks away!)
About Us: We are a family with three children, a boy in first grade (almost 7 years old), a boy who just turned 4, and a little girl who is almost 6 months old. We also have a small corgi and a cat!
We are primarily looking for care for our younger two children as our oldest will be in school. Over the summer there may be some weeks when he is home, but we will also be signing him up for many summer camps! Both Mom and Dad work from home but we will be working on a different floor and won’t cramp your style or hover!
A little about us. I am a Montessori trained Guide and love the Montessori method of learning. We are focused on hands on learning, outdoor time, arts/crafts, local field trips and minimal technology/tv. We are looking for someone who will be engaged with the kids, gets excited about planning activities, and looks forward to becoming part of our family. We also have a lot of resources (lesson plans, materials, etc… you can use to help plan things for the week.
Last, we need someone who is reliable, trustworthy and has a good driving record. I used to be a nanny and loved building a relationship with the family I worked for. We are hoping to find the same thing!

How to Find an Infant Care Job in Maple Grove, MN
If you’re looking for an infant nanny job, you’ve come to the right place! We can help you find an infant care job in your area. Start by telling families about yourself in your profile, and then chat with families to find the right fit. When you think you’ve found the right match, you can turn the discussion towards compensation and responsibilities.
What is an Infant Nanny in Maple Grove, MN
An infant nanny is a nanny that specializes in caring for newborns. They are skilled in diapering and providing care for any rashes, swaddling, bathing, feeding, and burping. Some infant nannies further specialize in care for premature newborns or multiples.
Preparing for a Nanny Interview for an Infant Care Position
Once you start connecting with prospective employers, the next step is an infant nanny job interview. Here is a list of some infant nanny interview questions to prepare for:
- What is your specific experience with this age group?
- Are you Infant CPR/First Aid certified in Maple Grove, MN? Are you willing to be trained?
- How do you handle a crying baby?
- How often do you usually offer parents updates during the day?
- What do you feed an infant? At 0-3 months? 3-6 months? 6-9 months? 9-12 months?
- How do you set up the infant’s crib for a nap?
- What kind of activities will you plan to engage my baby?
You should be prepared with your references for past nanny jobs, and ideally, past infant jobs. Prior to the infant nanny interview, be sure to think about questions that you might have for the family. This is a great time to ask questions about the responsibilities and compensation for the infant nanny position. To make sure everyone has a shared understanding of the role and responsibilities, we recommend asking for a job offer or a nanny contract. By doing this, you can get off on the right foot with your future employer.
