A little bit about us

Hello! I am due with a baby boy at the end of October. During my leave from work, I would like some help 15-20 hours a week. Even a babysitter for dates with my husband. This will also act as a transition to when I go back to work and need full time help (40 hours a week). I would like you to care for my son at my home -- no driving, no other children, no pets. Thank you!

A little bit about us

We are looking for a part-time nanny for our 3-month-old, 2yr old, and 4yr old. We are an active and adventurous family and are hoping to find someone who can create a fun, educational, and nurturing environment. We also have a lovable lab that loves belly scratches.

We have had the same nanny for over 2yrs and love the relationship we get to have with her, she is a part of our family. We hope to find someone who can work opposite of her this fall with the potential to take on more hours in January. We are a reliable family that can guarantee a reoccurring/consistent schedule.

We are currently looking for a nanny for the following days/times:

Wednesday 1:30 - 4:30 or Thursday 7:00 - 1:30 and
Friday [phone number hidden]

Please message me if you would like to set up a phone interview.

Thanks,
Abigail

A little bit about us

Hi there! We're Dan and Sharon and we're welcoming our first child (a baby girl) in May 2025. We're looking for a nanny that is willing to help us out — we may need the occasional nighttime support and at least 3 days a week of full-time care after Sharon goes back to work post maternity leave.

Workdays:
- Mainly weekdays, with the occasional night / weekend request. Early on (prior to 6 months old), we'll be looking for help every weekday and after six months we'll trim our nanny needs down down to 2-3 days a week.
- We have a pup that may need to be picked up / dropped off to daycare on days when Sharon can't walk her
- Light housework and food prep would be a giant bonus

A little bit about us

We have a beautiful 8 month old daughter. I have been working fully remote however my company wants me to get back into the office 3 days a week. We are currently looking for Mon-Wed (around 7:30/8am - 5pm). The days can be adjusted if needed.

Responsibilities include, caring for baby, diaper changes, bottle feeds, sticking to nap/sleep training schedule, cleaning baby only items (bottles, high chair, some laundry). Baby is eating solids so some meal prep (I as mom cook all her foods but may need to warm up, cut, and plate).

Looking for a long term nanny that is willing to join a family. May switch to a more full time position in the future.

How to Find an Infant Care Job in Reno, NV

If you’re looking for an infant nanny job, you’ve come to the right place! We can help you find an infant care job in your area. Start by telling families about yourself in your profile, and then chat with families to find the right fit. When you think you’ve found the right match, you can turn the discussion towards compensation and responsibilities.

What is an Infant Nanny in Reno, NV

An infant nanny is a nanny that specializes in caring for newborns. They are skilled in diapering and providing care for any rashes, swaddling, bathing, feeding, and burping. Some infant nannies further specialize in care for premature newborns or multiples.

Preparing for a Nanny Interview for an Infant Care Position

Once you start connecting with prospective employers, the next step is an infant nanny job interview. Here is a list of some infant nanny interview questions to prepare for:

  • What is your specific experience with this age group?
  • Are you Infant CPR/First Aid certified in Reno, NV? Are you willing to be trained?
  • How do you handle a crying baby?
  • How often do you usually offer parents updates during the day?
  • What do you feed an infant? At 0-3 months? 3-6 months? 6-9 months? 9-12 months?
  • How do you set up the infant’s crib for a nap?
  • What kind of activities will you plan to engage my baby?

You should be prepared with your references for past nanny jobs, and ideally, past infant jobs. Prior to the infant nanny interview, be sure to think about questions that you might have for the family. This is a great time to ask questions about the responsibilities and compensation for the infant nanny position. To make sure everyone has a shared understanding of the role and responsibilities, we recommend asking for a job offer or a nanny contract. By doing this, you can get off on the right foot with your future employer.
