Really I just need someone for my 2 year-old toddler and 4 month old baby. Given that once school starts my son will be in his after school program.
The job insists of 25 to 32 hours a week. 3 to 4 Days on. I'm open to talking about pay but I'm the most comfortable with $15 an hour.
I'm looking for someone that is great with babies and kids, that loves to do activities and doesn't mind picking my son up some nights from Embee in the fall.
I will have a meal schedule ready each day and mild housework...
My schedule will pretty much be the same week to week with the few flip flops here and there. You will always know my schedule 3 weeks in advance!

My hours I would need are from 6am to 2:30 pm. My work schedule varies and I have rotating Tuesdays and Thursdays off so I would only need services 4times a week!
I do have a small dog, and I would love a little house work, and some meal prepping as well.

We are hoping to get some ideas on what is available for a nanny, so we can better prepare. Hours would vary, but would be all day time. We would need help 3 days a week, no weekends. Someone with flexibility on hours is preferred.
We live east side Sioux Falls, in a beautiful neighborhood next to an elementary school.
Looking for someone that will love our baby like their own, and communicate well with us.
Some light housework would also be expected.
Please reach out to us if you are at all interested, or would have availability to begin this spring (probably May).

How to Find an Infant Care Job in Sioux Falls, SD
If you’re looking for an infant nanny job, you’ve come to the right place! We can help you find an infant care job in your area. Start by telling families about yourself in your profile, and then chat with families to find the right fit. When you think you’ve found the right match, you can turn the discussion towards compensation and responsibilities.
What is an Infant Nanny in Sioux Falls, SD
An infant nanny is a nanny that specializes in caring for newborns. They are skilled in diapering and providing care for any rashes, swaddling, bathing, feeding, and burping. Some infant nannies further specialize in care for premature newborns or multiples.
Preparing for a Nanny Interview for an Infant Care Position
Once you start connecting with prospective employers, the next step is an infant nanny job interview. Here is a list of some infant nanny interview questions to prepare for:
- What is your specific experience with this age group?
- Are you Infant CPR/First Aid certified in Sioux Falls, SD? Are you willing to be trained?
- How do you handle a crying baby?
- How often do you usually offer parents updates during the day?
- What do you feed an infant? At 0-3 months? 3-6 months? 6-9 months? 9-12 months?
- How do you set up the infant’s crib for a nap?
- What kind of activities will you plan to engage my baby?
You should be prepared with your references for past nanny jobs, and ideally, past infant jobs. Prior to the infant nanny interview, be sure to think about questions that you might have for the family. This is a great time to ask questions about the responsibilities and compensation for the infant nanny position. To make sure everyone has a shared understanding of the role and responsibilities, we recommend asking for a job offer or a nanny contract. By doing this, you can get off on the right foot with your future employer.
