We’ll be in need of a part time nanny from Sept 11 - June 28 for a 6 month old and a 9 yo and 10 yo after school (they walk home from school). It would be a rotating schedule meaning you work Monday, Tuesday & Friday one week and then Wednesday & Thursday the following week. 7:30am - 5:30pm. It’s roughly 10 days a month. Ideal nanny would do light cleaning, help with homework after school/snacks and keeping kids away from electronics 😁. Needs to be ok with cats..we have 2!

We live on the East side by Harvey Dunn. Serious inquiries please message me. Thanks!

A little bit about us

I'm looking for a great babysitter for 3 children. Some light housekeeping is required.

Really I just need someone for my 2 year-old toddler and 4 month old baby. Given that once school starts my son will be in his after school program.

The job insists of 25 to 32 hours a week. 3 to 4 Days on. I'm open to talking about pay but I'm the most comfortable with $15 an hour.

I'm looking for someone that is great with babies and kids, that loves to do activities and doesn't mind picking my son up some nights from Embee in the fall.

I will have a meal schedule ready each day and mild housework...

My schedule will pretty much be the same week to week with the few flip flops here and there. You will always know my schedule 3 weeks in advance!

A little bit about us

Hello! We are looking for a part time nanny for our family starting as soon as possible. We have a two little girls named Elaina who will be 3 in June and Adalyn who will be 1 in May! We have two small dogs, so it’s important that you feel comfortable around dogs however you would not be expected to care for them other than opening the back door to let them run in the backyard here or there. We would prefer someone who is CPR certified and has at least 2 years experience caring for children. The hours would be flexible but we would need care for sure 3 days out of the week, sometimes maybe 4. The earliest start time would be 630 am and the end time will be 545pm.

A little bit about us

My husband and I are eagerly expecting our first baby in July of 2025. We are looking for a full-time nanny (~30-35 hours, 3-4 days per week) to provide care while we work starting in late October-November. We do have two dogs, but no care would be expected for them besides letting them out in the yard once or twice throughout the day.

A little bit about us

I have two little boys. My oldest is a wild , amazing, curious little guy that loves a buddy who will play with him. He does have a routine and is very good at communicating his needs through sign language or even with his words. He does have a slight speech delay as well. My other son is 9 months old, he’s a crawler and is very fast. He as well as a routine and eats baby food and formula through the day. He loves finding new things to be interested in and as well as eating peoples faces! Lol.

My hours I would need are from 6am to 2:30 pm. My work schedule varies and I have rotating Tuesdays and Thursdays off so I would only need services 4times a week!
I do have a small dog, and I would love a little house work, and some meal prepping as well.

A little bit about us

We have a little one on the way, due April 2021!
We are hoping to get some ideas on what is available for a nanny, so we can better prepare. Hours would vary, but would be all day time. We would need help 3 days a week, no weekends. Someone with flexibility on hours is preferred.
We live east side Sioux Falls, in a beautiful neighborhood next to an elementary school.
Looking for someone that will love our baby like their own, and communicate well with us.
Some light housework would also be expected.
Please reach out to us if you are at all interested, or would have availability to begin this spring (probably May).

How to Find an Infant Care Job in Sioux Falls, SD

If you’re looking for an infant nanny job, you’ve come to the right place! We can help you find an infant care job in your area. Start by telling families about yourself in your profile, and then chat with families to find the right fit. When you think you’ve found the right match, you can turn the discussion towards compensation and responsibilities.

What is an Infant Nanny in Sioux Falls, SD

An infant nanny is a nanny that specializes in caring for newborns. They are skilled in diapering and providing care for any rashes, swaddling, bathing, feeding, and burping. Some infant nannies further specialize in care for premature newborns or multiples.

Preparing for a Nanny Interview for an Infant Care Position

Once you start connecting with prospective employers, the next step is an infant nanny job interview. Here is a list of some infant nanny interview questions to prepare for:

  • What is your specific experience with this age group?
  • Are you Infant CPR/First Aid certified in Sioux Falls, SD? Are you willing to be trained?
  • How do you handle a crying baby?
  • How often do you usually offer parents updates during the day?
  • What do you feed an infant? At 0-3 months? 3-6 months? 6-9 months? 9-12 months?
  • How do you set up the infant’s crib for a nap?
  • What kind of activities will you plan to engage my baby?

You should be prepared with your references for past nanny jobs, and ideally, past infant jobs. Prior to the infant nanny interview, be sure to think about questions that you might have for the family. This is a great time to ask questions about the responsibilities and compensation for the infant nanny position. To make sure everyone has a shared understanding of the role and responsibilities, we recommend asking for a job offer or a nanny contract. By doing this, you can get off on the right foot with your future employer.
