A little bit about us

I work Monday Tuesday Wednesday during the school day. Hubby works a different schedule every week. We would need someone usually one or two of those days for the 4 year old, 2 year old, and baby. Hours would be from 7am to no later than 4pm. Two year old is mostly potty trained.
Starting next school year, it would only be the two youngest, as the 4year old will be in full day preschool.

A little bit about us

Our daughter, Laynie, is 5 weeks old. We are looking for a very flexible individual to be able to do all things newborn when watching her. We do have a 7 year old Aussie rescue, who is very sweet and loving. She can get very anxious at times being a rescue but for the most part, very calm and restful.

Our hours at the moment will vary depending on my wife's schedule. My schedule is constant but hers is all over the place. We obviously will be courteous of your time and give enough notice if any change occurs on any given day or week.

A little bit about us

I work from home as a business administrator. I have two wonderful little boys that I would need some assistance with part time during the weeks to focus on work as well as give them the support they need. They love to go outside and we try our best to be more on the healthy side of our meals.

A little bit about us

2 girls.. ages 3 and 7 months. I don’t have an exact idea of schedule as of yet , but probably mostly mornings and afternoons. Evenings .. might have a need occasionally . 3 year old beginning preschool in fall from I believe 8 am until 1pm (possibly fewer hours at school. Light meals for kids and when in the home our dog might need attention to basic needs such as letting her in the house when temps. And humidity Are high and unhealthy for even animals and water needs . Currently I’m at home with the girls everyday without external help and it’s amazing but I’m also finishing my undergraduate degree and wouldn’t hate having a little more study time when needed lol. My 3 year old is beginning a new team sport soon as well as having her swimming, gymnastics and other activities that may require help either with pickups or staying home with younger daughter while I’m gone .

What is an Infant Nanny in Quincy, IL

An infant nanny is a nanny that specializes in caring for newborns. They are skilled in diapering and providing care for any rashes, swaddling, bathing, feeding, and burping. Some infant nannies further specialize in care for premature newborns or multiples.

Preparing for a Nanny Interview for an Infant Care Position

Once you start connecting with prospective employers, the next step is an infant nanny job interview. Here is a list of some infant nanny interview questions to prepare for:

  • What is your specific experience with this age group?
  • Are you Infant CPR/First Aid certified in Quincy, IL? Are you willing to be trained?
  • How do you handle a crying baby?
  • How often do you usually offer parents updates during the day?
  • What do you feed an infant? At 0-3 months? 3-6 months? 6-9 months? 9-12 months?
  • How do you set up the infant’s crib for a nap?
  • What kind of activities will you plan to engage my baby?

You should be prepared with your references for past nanny jobs, and ideally, past infant jobs. Prior to the infant nanny interview, be sure to think about questions that you might have for the family. This is a great time to ask questions about the responsibilities and compensation for the infant nanny position. To make sure everyone has a shared understanding of the role and responsibilities, we recommend asking for a job offer or a nanny contract. By doing this, you can get off on the right foot with your future employer.
