A little bit about us

My husband and I are looking for a loving, organized, and kind nanny to care for our adorable 3-month old daughter full time (M-F 8:45-4:30 and ideally starting end of October, but can be flexible). We're a pet- and smoke-free home, are fully COVID vaccinated (and prefer our nanny be as well), and are excited to find a nanny that will grow with our daughter and become a part of our family. We prefer a nanny who drives and does not take public transportation and follows COVID precautions. We live in West Town, Chicago and have a parking space for our nanny's daily use. Daily, our nanny will do age-appropriate activities (tummy time, walks, etc.), follow a nap/feeding schedule, and do light housekeeping, related to our daughter. We're excited to find our perfect nanny! :)

A little bit about us

Baby Radford will arrive in early September. I am an orthodontist in Northwest Indiana, and my husband is in medical device sales. I plan to continue to work full-time after my maternity leave. I work 7am-5pm on Monday-Thursdays, and work two Fridays and a Saturday per month (7am-noon). We have no animals but are friendly to having a dog in the house. Responsibilities I am looking for are really taking care of our child and any cleaning up after him/her. There may be pick-up/drop-off duties if we decide to nanny share. My sister is potentially interested and her little one will be about 2 months older than ours.

A little bit about us

Hello I’m looking for a part time nanny for 2 hours a day between 2pm and 4pm Monday through Friday. Essentially I work from home and I need help from 2 pm to 4pm. The nanny basically will only be there to pick up the baby if she starts crying and to keep an eye on here for those two hours.

My little baby girl is Viktoria and she is only 3 months old.

She will be fed and diaper changed before you get here and hopefully napping. I only need help if she wakes up just to hold her till she stops crying.

How to Find an Infant Care Job in Dyer, IN

If you’re looking for an infant nanny job, you’ve come to the right place! We can help you find an infant care job in your area. Start by telling families about yourself in your profile, and then chat with families to find the right fit. What is an Infant Nanny in Dyer, IN

An infant nanny is a nanny that specializes in caring for newborns. They are skilled in diapering and providing care for any rashes, swaddling, bathing, feeding, and burping. Some infant nannies further specialize in care for premature newborns or multiples.

Preparing for a Nanny Interview for an Infant Care Position

Once you start connecting with prospective employers, the next step is an infant nanny job interview. Here is a list of some infant nanny interview questions to prepare for:

  • What is your specific experience with this age group?
  • Are you Infant CPR/First Aid certified in Dyer, IN? Are you willing to be trained?
  • How do you handle a crying baby?
  • How often do you usually offer parents updates during the day?
  • What do you feed an infant? At 0-3 months? 3-6 months? 6-9 months? 9-12 months?
  • How do you set up the infant’s crib for a nap?
  • What kind of activities will you plan to engage my baby?

You should be prepared with your references for past nanny jobs, and ideally, past infant jobs. Prior to the infant nanny interview, be sure to think about questions that you might have for the family. This is a great time to ask questions about the responsibilities and compensation for the infant nanny position. To make sure everyone has a shared understanding of the role and responsibilities, we recommend asking for a job offer or a nanny contract. By doing this, you can get off on the right foot with your future employer.
