I have a 3 month old boy and two corgis. We would prefer the nanny to come to our home in Almont. My husband works two days a week and I’m a teacher so we only need someone part-time. Our son is a super happy boy that loves when someone talks to him and snuggles. He also enjoys HeyBear.

A little bit about us

Hello! My husband and I work full time and have 3 awesome kids: a toddler boy (2 1/2) and twin 7 month old girls. Our jobs allow me to work from home some days, and my husband in office Tuesdays and Thursdays. However the jobs are demanding of our attention during 9:30am - 4pm EST and we need assistance watching the kids Tuesdays and Thursdays. We have two 45lb friendly dogs, but we are comfortable with them being crated during the day while the nanny/sitter watches the kids if that is the nanny preference. There are no requirements or asks to: clean the house or take care of the dogs. We only ask that if a bottle needs to be washed to use for the kids, please go ahead and wash it. As well, we would ask that the nanny make breakfast/lunch/snacks for our toddler (we can give you directions and options of what he likes when you're here). Our home is open for you to use while you're here, please feel free to use the sink for cleaning or personal use, fridge to store your breakfast/lunch, stove and kitchen for cooking, grab a soda out of the garage, etc. We have a little bit of land, and please feel free to take the kids outside (with sunscreen and hats) during the warm months while making sure no one goes near the pond (the kids cannot swim yet). We'd love to talk and are flexible to a nanny's requirements as well!

A little bit about us

Hi! I am looking for someone starting around end of January/early February. I’ll be back to work from maternity leave and will need someone 1-2 days a week to help care for my 2 year old and will be 3 month old! We do have a family dog - golden retriever who is very laid back and friendly. My two year old is potty trained but does need occasional help. The days will vary but for the most part it will be two days of either a Monday, Thursday or Friday. 730/8 am until around 330/4.

What is an Infant Nanny in Almont, MI

An infant nanny is a nanny that specializes in caring for newborns. They are skilled in diapering and providing care for any rashes, swaddling, bathing, feeding, and burping. Some infant nannies further specialize in care for premature newborns or multiples.

Preparing for a Nanny Interview for an Infant Care Position

Once you start connecting with prospective employers, the next step is an infant nanny job interview. Here is a list of some infant nanny interview questions to prepare for:

  • What is your specific experience with this age group?
  • Are you Infant CPR/First Aid certified in Almont, MI? Are you willing to be trained?
  • How do you handle a crying baby?
  • How often do you usually offer parents updates during the day?
  • What do you feed an infant? At 0-3 months? 3-6 months? 6-9 months? 9-12 months?
  • How do you set up the infant’s crib for a nap?
  • What kind of activities will you plan to engage my baby?

You should be prepared with your references for past nanny jobs, and ideally, past infant jobs. Prior to the infant nanny interview, be sure to think about questions that you might have for the family. This is a great time to ask questions about the responsibilities and compensation for the infant nanny position. To make sure everyone has a shared understanding of the role and responsibilities, we recommend asking for a job offer or a nanny contract. By doing this, you can get off on the right foot with your future employer.
