A little bit about us

Our sweet little Oscar would love for someone to come play with him during weekdays a few hours a day or a handful of days per week here at our home so Mom and Dad can get some work done! We would prefer a set schedule but are flexible on what that schedule is. Oscar is formula fed with no current health concerns. He is a happy, vocal boy who is developing quickly. We have 2 cats but they are entirely self sufficient, if sometimes a little nosy and noisy.

A little bit about us

Our daughter is Charlotte, 12 weeks old. We are looking for help after daycare. We’ve decided to get her into daycare. My husband travels for work all week. I work at a dealership, hours are 9-6 (sometimes I get stuck at work until 7ish). Due to our work schedules, we are looking for someone to pick her up from daycare. I have fridays off. We are looking for Monday thru Thursday to pick her up from daycare and bring her home. Open to discussing the hours, but we’re thinking 430 pickup from daycare and stay until 630/730. We live 5 minutes away from daycare. We also have an English bulldog named Teddy that we would need let out, he’s super chill and sweet. We live in commerce. Possibly light cleaning up and food for Charlotte.

A little bit about us

Hello! We have a baby boy, currently 12 weeks old, we will need care for during the day while mom and dad go back to work. Likely hours will be [phone number hidden] Monday through Friday. Baby has a 4 year old brother who goes to daycare for whom our nanny will not be expected to provide care. We do have two well-tempered dogs and our ideal caregiver will like dogs as well. The dogs can be placed in kennels or our garage or backyard for the majority of the day, if needed. No expectations for meal prep or household cleaning other than dishes/bottles the child has used. We would appreciate that our nanny has reliable transportation and experience with infants. A student with early childhood education interest or emphasis would be ideal!

How to Find an Infant Care Job in Commerce Charter Township, MI

If you’re looking for an infant nanny job, you’ve come to the right place! We can help you find an infant care job in your area. Start by telling families about yourself in your profile, and then chat with families to find the right fit. When you think you’ve found the right match, you can turn the discussion towards compensation and responsibilities.

What is an Infant Nanny in Commerce Charter Township, MI

An infant nanny is a nanny that specializes in caring for newborns. They are skilled in diapering and providing care for any rashes, swaddling, bathing, feeding, and burping. Some infant nannies further specialize in care for premature newborns or multiples.

Preparing for a Nanny Interview for an Infant Care Position

Once you start connecting with prospective employers, the next step is an infant nanny job interview. Here is a list of some infant nanny interview questions to prepare for:

  • What is your specific experience with this age group?
  • Are you Infant CPR/First Aid certified in Commerce Charter Township, MI? Are you willing to be trained?
  • How do you handle a crying baby?
  • How often do you usually offer parents updates during the day?
  • What do you feed an infant? At 0-3 months? 3-6 months? 6-9 months? 9-12 months?
  • How do you set up the infant’s crib for a nap?
  • What kind of activities will you plan to engage my baby?

You should be prepared with your references for past nanny jobs, and ideally, past infant jobs. Prior to the infant nanny interview, be sure to think about questions that you might have for the family. This is a great time to ask questions about the responsibilities and compensation for the infant nanny position. To make sure everyone has a shared understanding of the role and responsibilities, we recommend asking for a job offer or a nanny contract. By doing this, you can get off on the right foot with your future employer.
