A little bit about us
We’re hoping to find someone nurturing, patient, engaging, and attentive to developmental milestones. Our son thrives with interactive play, structure, and gentle care, and we’d love a nanny who enjoys helping little ones learn and explore throughout the day.
Requirements: NON- Negotiable
• Prior experience caring for young toddlers
• 18+ years old
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Comfortable driving to local outings and activities
• CPR/First Aid certified (or willing to obtain certification)
• Reliable, punctual, and consistent with routines and scheduling (This is one of our biggest asks)
• Gentle, patient, and responsive to toddler cues
• Engaging and interactive - willing to follow age-appropriate activities
• Comfortable working alongside a work-from-home parent (mom works remotely and will be present in the home during the day)
• NON-SMOKER
• Comfortable with cats (we have 1 cat)
No photos or videos without parent consent.
Additional child-related duties will likely be assigned (I.e., tidying play areas, washing dishes used during the day, folding baby laundry, etc.)
Our family values outdoor time and daily movement. We are looking for someone willing and able to take daily walks and spend time outside with our son whenever weather safely permits.
We strongly value exploration, fresh air, and active engagement.
Our son also has dietary restrictions and a very intentional approach to meals. We prioritize fresh foods and home-prepared meals. No pork, cow’s milk, or overly processed foods are permitted.
We are looking for someone who values communication, consistency, and creating a warm, safe environment for our son each day.

A little bit about us
I have 3 year old Twin Boys who will be starting preschool in the mornings this September. I am looking for someone to come to my home Monday, Wednesday and Thursday afternoons to hang out with the boys. Hours would range from 12-4 pm for a total of 8-10 hours. Position would start September 1, 2022. Possible extra hours with occasional drive to preschool and parent night outs.
Responsibilities would include standard child care (making snacks, playing outside, arts and crafts, etc), but I also request that items used by the twins are cleaned/put away and a weekly load of the boys laundry. I need someone who has a driver's license and car, in case of emergencies. We have 2 dogs, so must like pets, but they are crate trained and can be in crates during the day.
I just want someone who will keep my boys happy and engaged. Someone who is comfortable taking the kids to the nearby park, on walks, making crafts, etc.

How to Find an Infant Care Job in Grosse Pointe Park, MI
If you’re looking for an infant nanny job, you’ve come to the right place! We can help you find an infant care job in your area. Start by telling families about yourself in your profile, and then chat with families to find the right fit. When you think you’ve found the right match, you can turn the discussion towards compensation and responsibilities.
What is an Infant Nanny in Grosse Pointe Park, MI
An infant nanny is a nanny that specializes in caring for newborns. They are skilled in diapering and providing care for any rashes, swaddling, bathing, feeding, and burping. Some infant nannies further specialize in care for premature newborns or multiples.
Preparing for a Nanny Interview for an Infant Care Position
Once you start connecting with prospective employers, the next step is an infant nanny job interview. Here is a list of some infant nanny interview questions to prepare for:
- What is your specific experience with this age group?
- Are you Infant CPR/First Aid certified in Grosse Pointe Park, MI? Are you willing to be trained?
- How do you handle a crying baby?
- How often do you usually offer parents updates during the day?
- What do you feed an infant? At 0-3 months? 3-6 months? 6-9 months? 9-12 months?
- How do you set up the infant’s crib for a nap?
- What kind of activities will you plan to engage my baby?
You should be prepared with your references for past nanny jobs, and ideally, past infant jobs. Prior to the infant nanny interview, be sure to think about questions that you might have for the family. This is a great time to ask questions about the responsibilities and compensation for the infant nanny position. To make sure everyone has a shared understanding of the role and responsibilities, we recommend asking for a job offer or a nanny contract. By doing this, you can get off on the right foot with your future employer.
