A little bit about us

Our family is looking for a nanny to care for our 3-month-old daughter, Millie! Millie is an easy-going baby with a full head of hair and a big smile!

We are hoping for someone who can work 3-4 days a week for approximately 32+/- hours (we can be flexible on the number of hours for the right candidate). I primarily work from home, so our schedule is flexible, but we do need someone who can work during the weekdays.

My husband and I were both born and raised in Montana and are happy to be back after living out of state for several years. We enjoy getting outside with our two goofy dogs, cooking good meals, playing board games, and doing DIY projects! Our two dogs will love any extra attention you give them!

A little bit about us

I am a work from home mom with a professional job. We have a bright, funny 18 month old and have a little baby this December. Start date is flexible, depending on a few factors. I work in the office on Wednesdays but typically work from home MTThF. We can be flexible with planning and schedules, please reach out if you might be interested. Typical schedule has been 9-4, 3-4 days per week. We could discuss this together.

I am open to ideas!
-Part time nanny to assist in my home while I work in my home office.
-Splitting a full-time nanny with another family
-Collaborating with other work from home moms

We are a fun family on the west side of town. We live in the woods and have dogs so please keep that in mind when considering our posting.

A little bit about us

I am looking for a nanny for my 6 year-old son and 2 yr old daughter to come to my home in west Helena. The 6yo will be in school mostly. Hours are 7:30am-5pm. We are open to full time or two part time people. Responsibilities are directly related to childcare - I have meals ready to go. We have a small dog in the house (no care required beyond letting her out once or twice, but she is old and mostly downstairs).

In a nanny, our kids needs someone who can get down on the floor and play, is energetic, kind, and loving. Ideally, you are creative and like to teach my son new things and plan activities. I work a job in which I have people who rely on me to be at my job every day and on time, so it is very important that you are dependable and reliable. You must have your own transportation that comes to work with you (in case of an emergency), working cell phone, and be a non-smoker.

Looking for help sooner rather than later. End of September would be ideal

A little bit about us

Hello! I’m looking for a nanny for our 3 boys (some days might just be our twins—oldest is in daycare one day a week). Ideally, I would like to keep my schedule of working Thursday & Fridays (occasionally some Mondays), but willing to adjust if needed. Hours generally needed are 8:15-5 (these vary depending on the week). Prefer someone with experience, CPR certified and a reliable car. No weekends expected & summers off. We follow the school schedule since my husband is a teacher 🖤

Hi, my name is Shannon and I am looking for childcare for my 10 month old daughter, Lucy. I am a nurse, so my schedule is frequently shifting. I will always need care 3 days a week (no weekends), but these days are not set until about a month in advance. The hours would be 730am to 515pm. We would like to keep the price around $30 a day and would be completely open to a nanny share. Please let me know if you are interested at all. Thanks so much!

A little bit about us

Hello - looking for some care for our infant son. At the moment, we're hoping to have coverage 2-3 days per week, for 3 or so hours in the afternoon. Mainly to give us a break to get some errands done and clean up around the house. Likely we'll grow the role over time as needed and we both get back to work.

How to Find an Infant Care Job in Helena, MT

If you’re looking for an infant nanny job, you’ve come to the right place! We can help you find an infant care job in your area. Start by telling families about yourself in your profile, and then chat with families to find the right fit. When you think you’ve found the right match, you can turn the discussion towards compensation and responsibilities.

What is an Infant Nanny in Helena, MT

An infant nanny is a nanny that specializes in caring for newborns. They are skilled in diapering and providing care for any rashes, swaddling, bathing, feeding, and burping. Some infant nannies further specialize in care for premature newborns or multiples.

Preparing for a Nanny Interview for an Infant Care Position

Once you start connecting with prospective employers, the next step is an infant nanny job interview. Here is a list of some infant nanny interview questions to prepare for:

  • What is your specific experience with this age group?
  • Are you Infant CPR/First Aid certified in Helena, MT? Are you willing to be trained?
  • How do you handle a crying baby?
  • How often do you usually offer parents updates during the day?
  • What do you feed an infant? At 0-3 months? 3-6 months? 6-9 months? 9-12 months?
  • How do you set up the infant’s crib for a nap?
  • What kind of activities will you plan to engage my baby?

You should be prepared with your references for past nanny jobs, and ideally, past infant jobs. Prior to the infant nanny interview, be sure to think about questions that you might have for the family. This is a great time to ask questions about the responsibilities and compensation for the infant nanny position. To make sure everyone has a shared understanding of the role and responsibilities, we recommend asking for a job offer or a nanny contract. By doing this, you can get off on the right foot with your future employer.
