A little bit about us

My 5 year olds name is Ryan (she is out for summer break so right now I’d like to find someone full time for her while I’m at work, I’m expecting my youngest this November which will be another full time position once Ryan goes back to school and I’m back from maternity leave. When school returns I’ll need someone to pick Ryan up in the afternoons and stay until I return from work. I just mainly need someone to watch her and feed an afternoon snack until I can get home. Once the baby is here it will require more work considering she will need full care, plus picking Ryan up from school etc (I will definitely give a pay raise once that time comes)

A little bit about us

I work at St. John’s hospital in Tulsa.
I work overnights. So it’s hard getting a sitter for overnights.
My kids names are Avery and Paxton
Ages 10 months to 3 years old.
I work 40 hours a week and rotate weekends so my schedule is not the same. Days off change and every other weekend I work.
I need someone to help watch them at night I’ll have them fed bathed and ready for bed by the time I leave.
I need help in the mornings having them ready by the time I get home. They do attend daycare. I take them in the mornings and drop them off.

What is an Infant Nanny in Sapulpa, OK

An infant nanny is a nanny that specializes in caring for newborns. They are skilled in diapering and providing care for any rashes, swaddling, bathing, feeding, and burping. Some infant nannies further specialize in care for premature newborns or multiples.

Preparing for a Nanny Interview for an Infant Care Position

Once you start connecting with prospective employers, the next step is an infant nanny job interview. Here is a list of some infant nanny interview questions to prepare for:

  • What is your specific experience with this age group?
  • Are you Infant CPR/First Aid certified in Sapulpa, OK? Are you willing to be trained?
  • How do you handle a crying baby?
  • How often do you usually offer parents updates during the day?
  • What do you feed an infant? At 0-3 months? 3-6 months? 6-9 months? 9-12 months?
  • How do you set up the infant’s crib for a nap?
  • What kind of activities will you plan to engage my baby?

You should be prepared with your references for past nanny jobs, and ideally, past infant jobs. Prior to the infant nanny interview, be sure to think about questions that you might have for the family. This is a great time to ask questions about the responsibilities and compensation for the infant nanny position. To make sure everyone has a shared understanding of the role and responsibilities, we recommend asking for a job offer or a nanny contract. By doing this, you can get off on the right foot with your future employer.
