Augie is a great baby but he's definitely a handful; he likes sitting outside, being entertained and (sometimes) watching a few minutes of Ms. Rachel. For now, he loves mango and orange puree.
Responsibilities would include basic childcare (like holding baby or changing diaper), basic pet care (changing a litter box loading laundry or moving laundry from washer to dryer, and/or other small chores. We might also need an occasional babysitter on nights / weekends.

There are two small dogs in the home that I would ask be let out periodically, so you must be comfortable with pets.

Will need care 5 days/wk with few exceptions (3/31, week of 4/14, 5/26 no care needed.) Walter is a very easy going, fun loving boy who I'd be happy to have spend time with a loving care taker and potentially other children!
May possibly desire minimal driving. My job has about an hour lunch break I'd like to spend with him which could be considered a "break" otherwise hours would be roughly [phone number hidden] (depending on location - I work in Edgewood, Cranston) with some potential for later days if I have a meeting.
I live in North Scituate RI and have 3 dogs for those who will need to provide care in my home.

Preparing for a Nanny Interview for an Infant Care Position
Once you start connecting with prospective employers, the next step is an infant nanny job interview. Here is a list of some infant nanny interview questions to prepare for:
- What is your specific experience with this age group?
- Are you Infant CPR/First Aid certified in Cranston, RI? Are you willing to be trained?
- How do you handle a crying baby?
- How often do you usually offer parents updates during the day?
- What do you feed an infant? At 0-3 months? 3-6 months? 6-9 months? 9-12 months?
- How do you set up the infant’s crib for a nap?
- What kind of activities will you plan to engage my baby?
You should be prepared with your references for past nanny jobs, and ideally, past infant jobs. Prior to the infant nanny interview, be sure to think about questions that you might have for the family. This is a great time to ask questions about the responsibilities and compensation for the infant nanny position. To make sure everyone has a shared understanding of the role and responsibilities, we recommend asking for a job offer or a nanny contract. By doing this, you can get off on the right foot with your future employer.
