A little bit about us

Hi everyone!

We are looking for a long term experienced, hands on, patient, fun and reliable nanny to take care of our little babes and hopefully become part of our family. We have one current nanny and are looking for another to rotate with. We are looking for primarily evenings and night shifts.

We are hoping for someone to play and engage the boys, light cleaning (the mess made while you're there, that's it), and light cooking for whatever they eat for your time here which we try to make as easy as possible.

A little bit about us:

- We have two fun and energetic boys, ages are 4yrs old and 2yrs old.
- We have a very calm and quiet dog.
- We are both ER RNs, so unfortunately our days vary but the shifts would be anywhere from a 6pm start until 4am at the latest. We do usually get our schedules over a month in advance and can be pretty flexible since we plan on picking up shifts when we know you're available. We're hoping for 2 or 3 days a week. And then maybe some added date nights.
- Looking for someone who is CPR/First Aid certified, non smoker with a reliable car.
-Pay will be based off experience and discussed privately.

We look forward to hearing from you!

A little bit about us

Hi! We are posting for a part time nanny for our 2yo daughter. We are also expecting our second daughter in early April. We are looking for someone to help watch our older daughter while we either if us is at work during the week—about 24-30 hours a week, ideally 6-8 hours each day. Shift time will vary based on our work schedule. Responsibilities would include feeding, playing/doing activities with our 2yo daughter, folding her laundry, and light housekeeping (emptying/loading dishwasher etc). I may ask some help with our newborn like taking care of bottles and folding her laundry too. We have one dog as well so must be okay with dogs (he is friendly). Schedule and rate are flexible:) Thank you so much!

How to Find an Infant Care Job in Franklin, WI

If you’re looking for an infant nanny job, you’ve come to the right place! We can help you find an infant care job in your area. Start by telling families about yourself in your profile, and then chat with families to find the right fit. When you think you’ve found the right match, you can turn the discussion towards compensation and responsibilities.

What is an Infant Nanny in Franklin, WI

An infant nanny is a nanny that specializes in caring for newborns. They are skilled in diapering and providing care for any rashes, swaddling, bathing, feeding, and burping. Some infant nannies further specialize in care for premature newborns or multiples.

Preparing for a Nanny Interview for an Infant Care Position

Once you start connecting with prospective employers, the next step is an infant nanny job interview. Here is a list of some infant nanny interview questions to prepare for:

  • What is your specific experience with this age group?
  • Are you Infant CPR/First Aid certified in Franklin, WI? Are you willing to be trained?
  • How do you handle a crying baby?
  • How often do you usually offer parents updates during the day?
  • What do you feed an infant? At 0-3 months? 3-6 months? 6-9 months? 9-12 months?
  • How do you set up the infant’s crib for a nap?
  • What kind of activities will you plan to engage my baby?

You should be prepared with your references for past nanny jobs, and ideally, past infant jobs. Prior to the infant nanny interview, be sure to think about questions that you might have for the family. This is a great time to ask questions about the responsibilities and compensation for the infant nanny position. To make sure everyone has a shared understanding of the role and responsibilities, we recommend asking for a job offer or a nanny contract. By doing this, you can get off on the right foot with your future employer.
