A little bit about us

Hello, I'm MacKenzie, I recently got a job and am now requiring childcare for my 2 kiddos! My daughter's name is Braelynn, she is 2 years old and the sweetest kid ever. She's super smart and helpful and loves to play with all her toys! My son's name is Cedar, he is 5 months old. He's a very easy going baby, loves to sleep, eat, and cuddle. He will watch all your favorite shows with you or nap on the couch. I also have a dog names Georgia, she's a playful pup but the sweetest thing. My daughter will only be here part-time, as we have a 50/50 every 4-day schedule. My son however will be here all the time. Starting now, I will need a sitter a few days a week and will do some weekends for extra hours if needed! Starting May 12, I will need a full time sitter from 8 am to around 5:30 pm. Other than basic childcare, and occasionally letting the dog out and basic pet care the rest is totally up to you!

A little bit about us

Hello! My husband and I are looking for a part-time nanny for our newborn daughter. We are looking for a candidate to start in November before my maternity leave is complete. Right now, hours would be all day Monday, Thursday and Friday (roughly 7:30a-6p). We do have pets (cats) in the house but they will not require additional care. Responsibilities would solely be to care for the newborn throughout the day, though light housekeeping would be a bonus! Experience and CPR/first aid is preferred.

How to Find an Infant Care Job in Green Bay, WI

If you’re looking for an infant nanny job, you’ve come to the right place! We can help you find an infant care job in your area. Start by telling families about yourself in your profile, and then chat with families to find the right fit. When you think you’ve found the right match, you can turn the discussion towards compensation and responsibilities.

What is an Infant Nanny in Green Bay, WI

An infant nanny is a nanny that specializes in caring for newborns. They are skilled in diapering and providing care for any rashes, swaddling, bathing, feeding, and burping. Some infant nannies further specialize in care for premature newborns or multiples.

Preparing for a Nanny Interview for an Infant Care Position

Once you start connecting with prospective employers, the next step is an infant nanny job interview. Here is a list of some infant nanny interview questions to prepare for:

  • What is your specific experience with this age group?
  • Are you Infant CPR/First Aid certified in Green Bay, WI? Are you willing to be trained?
  • How do you handle a crying baby?
  • How often do you usually offer parents updates during the day?
  • What do you feed an infant? At 0-3 months? 3-6 months? 6-9 months? 9-12 months?
  • How do you set up the infant’s crib for a nap?
  • What kind of activities will you plan to engage my baby?

You should be prepared with your references for past nanny jobs, and ideally, past infant jobs. Prior to the infant nanny interview, be sure to think about questions that you might have for the family. This is a great time to ask questions about the responsibilities and compensation for the infant nanny position. To make sure everyone has a shared understanding of the role and responsibilities, we recommend asking for a job offer or a nanny contract. By doing this, you can get off on the right foot with your future employer.
