A little bit about us

Looking for care for our daughter, Nessa, who will turn one in July. Hours are somewhat flexible but generally we need care from 8:30am-3:30pm M-F or we could do 7am-4pm M-Thu. Open to care in our home, your home, or a combination.

We’ll be moving into a new construction home in the Lake Country Village neighborhood at the end of August and will need care to start shortly after. We plan on fencing in our yard right away. The neighborhood has many great amenities for kids (play grounds, basketball court, two pools). We have one dog so we will need someone who is comfortable around dogs.

I will be working from home in a dedicated office.

A little bit about us

We’re looking for someone for about 20 hours per weeks. Tuesdays and Thursdays are a must. Wednesdays would be great to have as well but not necessary. Both my husband and I have extremely flexible work schedules and both work from home, however, have our own separate offices so although we’ll be in the house, we’ll be out of our nanny’s way unless she needs something from us or needs to step away from “work.” I say “work” as we’re looking for someone who enjoys coming to our house to spend time with and taking care of our little ones who are currently (almost) 4 years old and 1 year old.

We also have a 2 year old golden retriever so certainly need someone who’s comfortable around pets. He’s the sweetest pup!

A little bit about us

We are so excited to welcome a little girl into our family in June of 2024! We're seeking some part-time nanny help, likely from 8 AM - 3 PM each day. We live in Oconomowoc, and are hoping to find someone who loves creative play, books, and planning fun activities as she gets older. You'll have two co-workers - My husband works from home during the day (in his office upstairs), and we have a very sweet (and sometimes very excited!) mini bernedoodle, so someone who can work with a dog is a must. We value communication, and plan to treat our future nanny with the utmost respect and care as well. Looking forward to speaking with you soon!

How to Find an Infant Care Job in Oconomowoc, WI

If you’re looking for an infant nanny job, you’ve come to the right place! We can help you find an infant care job in your area. Start by telling families about yourself in your profile, and then chat with families to find the right fit. When you think you’ve found the right match, you can turn the discussion towards compensation and responsibilities.

What is an Infant Nanny in Oconomowoc, WI

An infant nanny is a nanny that specializes in caring for newborns. They are skilled in diapering and providing care for any rashes, swaddling, bathing, feeding, and burping. Some infant nannies further specialize in care for premature newborns or multiples.

Preparing for a Nanny Interview for an Infant Care Position

Once you start connecting with prospective employers, the next step is an infant nanny job interview. Here is a list of some infant nanny interview questions to prepare for:

  • What is your specific experience with this age group?
  • Are you Infant CPR/First Aid certified in Oconomowoc, WI? Are you willing to be trained?
  • How do you handle a crying baby?
  • How often do you usually offer parents updates during the day?
  • What do you feed an infant? At 0-3 months? 3-6 months? 6-9 months? 9-12 months?
  • How do you set up the infant’s crib for a nap?
  • What kind of activities will you plan to engage my baby?

You should be prepared with your references for past nanny jobs, and ideally, past infant jobs. Prior to the infant nanny interview, be sure to think about questions that you might have for the family. This is a great time to ask questions about the responsibilities and compensation for the infant nanny position. To make sure everyone has a shared understanding of the role and responsibilities, we recommend asking for a job offer or a nanny contract. By doing this, you can get off on the right foot with your future employer.
