A little bit about us

My work schedule varies since I work 12 hour shifts, three days a week including every third weekend. I have four energetic kiddos who only need someone to keep an eye on overnight because they tend to wake up in the middle of the night sometimes. Plus, I have another one on the way in April, so newborn experience is a plus. Only responsibility is to keep the kiddos safe during the night and when the new one comes, just to feed baby when he wakes up during the night.

A little bit about us

We are expecting a baby this spring and are looking for a kind, dependable part-time nanny in Sheboygan, WI beginning in July, when maternity leave ends.

We are seeking care one day per week, Monday from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM. We would be flexible with the day of the week (expect Friday.)

We’re hoping to find someone who genuinely loves children, is attentive and nurturing, and has experience caring for infants. Reliability, warmth, and engagement are very important to us as our little one grows.

In addition to childcare, we would appreciate help with light household tasks such as running a load of laundry, washing dishes, and tidying up common areas as needed.

We also have a very sweet and social cat, so comfort around pets (and no allergies) is important.

We’re excited to connect with someone who will feel like part of our family!

A little bit about us

Babysitter needed to provide care while I work from home. I work remotely from home and I don't have the ability to work while taking care of my daughter. I just need help for 2 hours while I'm working.
Daughter is 5 years old and just needs someone to show her attention for 2 hours while I'm working.
Job duties are reading, feeding, and playtime. When school starts she will need to be put to bed and read a bedtime story. She is easy going and has no issues using the bathroom on her own. Looking for someone long term until my work schedule changes.

Hi! We need someone to watch our almost 3 year old son (B) and 1 year old daughter (also B). It would be 4-5 days a week from 7am to 5/6pm, maybe sooner. We are looking for someone long term, reliable, doesn’t care about the kids being ill, has references, and no smoking of any kind. Also, we need someone who doesn’t mind dogs. We look forward to meeting you!

I need someone to come watch our 3 month old when I have to go back to work (from home) after maternity leave next summer. I would be breastfeeding so there is no expectation to feed them, just play and change diapers and put down for naps while I work in the other room! This would start next July 2025 for 2 days/week.

How to Find an Infant Care Job in Sheboygan, WI

If you’re looking for an infant nanny job, you’ve come to the right place! We can help you find an infant care job in your area. Start by telling families about yourself in your profile, and then chat with families to find the right fit. When you think you’ve found the right match, you can turn the discussion towards compensation and responsibilities.

What is an Infant Nanny in Sheboygan, WI

An infant nanny is a nanny that specializes in caring for newborns. They are skilled in diapering and providing care for any rashes, swaddling, bathing, feeding, and burping. Some infant nannies further specialize in care for premature newborns or multiples.

Preparing for a Nanny Interview for an Infant Care Position

Once you start connecting with prospective employers, the next step is an infant nanny job interview. Here is a list of some infant nanny interview questions to prepare for:

  • What is your specific experience with this age group?
  • Are you Infant CPR/First Aid certified in Sheboygan, WI? Are you willing to be trained?
  • How do you handle a crying baby?
  • How often do you usually offer parents updates during the day?
  • What do you feed an infant? At 0-3 months? 3-6 months? 6-9 months? 9-12 months?
  • How do you set up the infant’s crib for a nap?
  • What kind of activities will you plan to engage my baby?

You should be prepared with your references for past nanny jobs, and ideally, past infant jobs. Prior to the infant nanny interview, be sure to think about questions that you might have for the family. This is a great time to ask questions about the responsibilities and compensation for the infant nanny position. To make sure everyone has a shared understanding of the role and responsibilities, we recommend asking for a job offer or a nanny contract. By doing this, you can get off on the right foot with your future employer.
