A little bit about us

Hi, I work full time as does my husband. I work nights. We need part time help through the week. My schedule does change every once and awhile so someone would need to be flexible with days but I can give plenty of notice. Primary days needed are Tuesday-Thursday. Morning start time can be flexible and evenings we would need care till at least 5pm. Open to in-home style center or someone being here at my house. No pets and smoke free home here. We are fairly open to different types of care, in need of care mid June as our current babysitter is moving out of the area. We have one child, his name is Austin and he is currently 7 months old. He loves blowing raspberries and rolling. No known allergies yet. Loves to be outside too.

A little bit about us

Hello! I’m a mom of 3 little boys. I’m looking for an experienced, gentle, and attentive nanny to watch over my little boys, 5 years, 3 years, and 10 months old, while I get a few things done. We are a conservative Christian family with very little screen time and lots of outside play, hands on activities. Bonus pay if you could do some housekeeping as well. I am looking for a good fit for our family so we can be a good match. I am willing to work with anyone so long as I am comfortable.

What is an Infant Nanny in Middleway, WV

Preparing for a Nanny Interview for an Infant Care Position

Once you start connecting with prospective employers, the next step is an infant nanny job interview. Here is a list of some infant nanny interview questions to prepare for:

  • What is your specific experience with this age group?
  • Are you Infant CPR/First Aid certified in Middleway, WV? Are you willing to be trained?
  • How do you handle a crying baby?
  • How often do you usually offer parents updates during the day?
  • What do you feed an infant? At 0-3 months? 3-6 months? 6-9 months? 9-12 months?
  • How do you set up the infant’s crib for a nap?
  • What kind of activities will you plan to engage my baby?

You should be prepared with your references for past nanny jobs, and ideally, past infant jobs. Prior to the infant nanny interview, be sure to think about questions that you might have for the family. This is a great time to ask questions about the responsibilities and compensation for the infant nanny position. To make sure everyone has a shared understanding of the role and responsibilities, we recommend asking for a job offer or a nanny contract. By doing this, you can get off on the right foot with your future employer.
