A little bit about us
Hi! We are a family looking for a reliable, experienced nanny to support us with our toddler and newborn.
We are specifically looking for someone who is confident, proactive, and experienced with both toddlers and infants — not a casual babysitter.
We are also open to hiring a second nanny to help cover additional days and provide flexibility in our schedule.
Schedule:
• 3 days per week
• 4 hours per day (12 guaranteed hours/week after 30 day trial)
• Potential for additional hours and travel support
What We’re Looking For:
We’re hoping to find someone who:
• Has solid experience with both toddlers and newborns
• Is CPR & First Aid certified
• Has a safe, reliable vehicle
• Is proactive and engaging (comes with activity ideas)
• Truly enjoys playing, teaching, and interacting with toddlers
• Understands child development and emotional regulation
• Is patient, warm, and attentive
• Can prepare simple, healthy meals for our toddler
• Is comfortable supporting a mother who is home with a newborn
Responsibilities:
• Engaging, interactive play with our toddler
• Planning simple activities (play, reading, outdoor time, etc.)
• Preparing meals/snacks for our toddler
• Light tidying of areas used (toys, kitchen, play spaces)
• Occasional outings (park, walks, etc.)
• Helping create a calm, positive environment
⸻
🚫 Important:
This is not a passive babysitting role.
We are looking for someone who takes initiative, stays engaged, and genuinely enjoys working with young children.
⸻
✨ Bonus if you:
• Have multiple years of nanny experience
• Have cared for a toddler and newborn at the same time
• Are creative, reliable, and take pride in your work

A little bit about us
We currently live in a trailer on our lot while we are building our house. Our house will be finished around Thanksgiving, so the trailer is obviously temporary.
An example day would be something like this:
8-8:50 AM—3 kids
8:50 AM - 12 PM —1 kid (baby)
12:00- pick up at kindergarten

We do not have any pets. Our 2nd grader has dance on Tuesdays/Thursdays, so end time would be sooner as my husband or I will get her there.

How to Find an Infant Care Job in Eagle Mountain, UT
If you’re looking for an infant nanny job, you’ve come to the right place! We can help you find an infant care job in your area. Start by telling families about yourself in your profile, and then chat with families to find the right fit. When you think you’ve found the right match, you can turn the discussion towards compensation and responsibilities.
What is an Infant Nanny in Eagle Mountain, UT
An infant nanny is a nanny that specializes in caring for newborns. They are skilled in diapering and providing care for any rashes, swaddling, bathing, feeding, and burping. Some infant nannies further specialize in care for premature newborns or multiples.
Preparing for a Nanny Interview for an Infant Care Position
Once you start connecting with prospective employers, the next step is an infant nanny job interview. Here is a list of some infant nanny interview questions to prepare for:
- What is your specific experience with this age group?
- Are you Infant CPR/First Aid certified in Eagle Mountain, UT? Are you willing to be trained?
- How do you handle a crying baby?
- How often do you usually offer parents updates during the day?
- What do you feed an infant? At 0-3 months? 3-6 months? 6-9 months? 9-12 months?
- How do you set up the infant’s crib for a nap?
- What kind of activities will you plan to engage my baby?
You should be prepared with your references for past nanny jobs, and ideally, past infant jobs. Prior to the infant nanny interview, be sure to think about questions that you might have for the family. This is a great time to ask questions about the responsibilities and compensation for the infant nanny position. To make sure everyone has a shared understanding of the role and responsibilities, we recommend asking for a job offer or a nanny contract. By doing this, you can get off on the right foot with your future employer.
