A little bit about us

Our Son was born [phone number hidden]. We are looking for night care 3 to 5 nights a week: Feeding (mom breastfeeds and pumps), changing, and making sure he sleeps - and that we sleep - are the goals. We are not looking for a housekeeper, bur light help while the Boy sleeps is helpful - and tasks are open for discussion.

Cigarette smoking is not okay. We have a mini goldendoodle (7yrs) and a mini laberdoodle (1 year). They may need to be let out at night from time to time. Both are girls and very good dogs.

Time for work is roughly 9/10pm to 6/7am. Our home is historic and in Stowe Village. We recently completed restoring the home. We live between Fort Myers, Fla and Stowe, Vt.

We are both educated professionals who love Stowe. We members of Stowe Community Church, involved in the community, and consider Stowe our “happy place”. That said, Dad’s business is family based, founded and headquartered in the South. Mom’s business, despite being a Florida mom, is based in NYC.

As far as our Son. He is a healthy and happy Boy. He has a half sister who is in her first year at Auburn. The Boy is Dad’s second child - Mom’s first.

A background check will be conducted for whomever may work for our family. Likewise, we are open to answering questions to a potential house staff member. Our EA/PA manages most aspects of our lives.

A little bit about us

We are looking for a full time nanny for our 2.5 month old son, starting 3/1 (he’ll be 3.5 months). We live between Stowe and Florida, but spend most of our time in Vermont (75%). We’re looking for someone who can grow with our family and who has the ability to travel with us as needed. We have three dogs (a senior lab, and two mini doodles) so someone who likes dogs is a must. We’re looking for a non-smoker who has their own transportation (in Vermont; we’ll provide a vehicle when we’re in Florida) and someone who has at least several years of experience with infant care. Early childhood education or infant daycare experience is a plus, particularly if it was Montessori based.

Hours may vary, but typically M-F 8:30am until 6/6:30pm. Responsibilities are limited exclusively to childcare. Obviously picking up after yourself and keeping the nursery tidy are appreciated. Compensation and benefits to be negotiated based on scope of work.

A little bit about us

We're looking for a nanny share beginning in Fall 2025 for our baby coming this July.

We're looking for care Monday-Friday during normal working hours as we both have full-time jobs. Ideally we would like to join a nanny share hosted at another family's home, as our home is not very large. Thank you!

A little bit about us

We are welcoming a baby boy in October. My parental leave ends early/mid January and we will need a nanny/nanny share situation starting at that time for our 3 month old. I'd like to host the nanny here or at another home locally. We are on daycare wait lists but likely wouldn't want to start him at daycare until he's 6 mo to a year old.

The hours for this job would be roughly 9-5, 5 days a week (with slightly flexibility).

We also have a dog. It would be great if the nanny could take him for a walk, but this is NOT necessary and just letting him out to pee in the yard occasionally would be perfectly fine.

My husband and I both work from home. When we are home, we are on calls/meetings and on our computers in our separate offices. My husband has to travel about 30% of the time.

How to Find an Infant Care Job in Stowe, VT

If you’re looking for an infant nanny job, you’ve come to the right place! We can help you find an infant care job in your area. Start by telling families about yourself in your profile, and then chat with families to find the right fit. When you think you’ve found the right match, you can turn the discussion towards compensation and responsibilities.

What is an Infant Nanny in Stowe, VT

An infant nanny is a nanny that specializes in caring for newborns. They are skilled in diapering and providing care for any rashes, swaddling, bathing, feeding, and burping. Some infant nannies further specialize in care for premature newborns or multiples.

Preparing for a Nanny Interview for an Infant Care Position

Once you start connecting with prospective employers, the next step is an infant nanny job interview. Here is a list of some infant nanny interview questions to prepare for:

  • What is your specific experience with this age group?
  • Are you Infant CPR/First Aid certified in Stowe, VT? Are you willing to be trained?
  • How do you handle a crying baby?
  • How often do you usually offer parents updates during the day?
  • What do you feed an infant? At 0-3 months? 3-6 months? 6-9 months? 9-12 months?
  • How do you set up the infant’s crib for a nap?
  • What kind of activities will you plan to engage my baby?

You should be prepared with your references for past nanny jobs, and ideally, past infant jobs. Prior to the infant nanny interview, be sure to think about questions that you might have for the family. This is a great time to ask questions about the responsibilities and compensation for the infant nanny position. To make sure everyone has a shared understanding of the role and responsibilities, we recommend asking for a job offer or a nanny contract. By doing this, you can get off on the right foot with your future employer.
