Our current nanny, whom we adore, is starting grad school and found a job in her desired field of study.
We’re looking for someone with drivers license and reliable transportation, first-aid CPR certification is a plus. Our kids love outside time regardless of the weather and we’re looking for someone to inspire and nurture their sense of play and discovery by planning activities, crafts and even outings!
Other things to note: we have a 5 year old extremely affectionate pit-bull mix named Ziggy. Only dog related responsibility would be to let him out the back door into our backyard to go potty.
Looking to have someone start the first week of June.

A little bit about us
We pulled our daughter out of her previous Montessori/Waldorf-style daycare when she was 2 because they required masks at that age, which we were absolutely not doing for her, as much as the care they provided otherwise was awesome. They were outside multiple times a day, did lots of creative activities, and ate healthy food. We personally can't stand masks and would prefer to act as though everything is normal. That's how we've behaved for the past couple of years with our daughter, and we are so happy to see everyone's faces now!
With our latest born in March 2022, I've just returned to work from maternity leave and we are looking for an alternative to our current daycare. We wouldn't mind more one-on-one time for them, although the socializing aspect is definitely a plus! We like to get in outdoor time for fresh air and sunshine, which will understandably be tougher now with winter starting. We live about a 10 minute walk from Lake Michigan and 10 minutes to the library. We are looking for someone patient with potential creativity at naptime - we co-sleep in our house (traditional Japanese style), so since our son was born, have been either napping them in the same room or across the hall. We're definitely open to suggestions too!
I am bilingual in Japanese, and it's our daughter's first language, but her English is quickly catching up.
We have a dog, so she will be at home as well. She is a ~7 year old Australian Cattle Dog mix that we rescued from the humane society at 7 months old. She's very smart! She would just need to be let out a couple of times in our fenced in backyard.

He is well loved, eats good, sleeps well, and is nice to hold, easy to be with. Owen is a sweet 3 year old boy- funny, kind, loving, shy-at-first, fast and strong! He loves Paw-Patrol and his family.
We need someone to be with Oliver while mom and dad work full time.
Our home is 3 blocks from Sheridan Park in Cudahy. We have a nice dog, Titan, and a nice cat, we just call Kitten. Mom mostly works from home, so you will see her more than Dad. Sometimes Mom needs to work in the office. We are hoping for a Nanny to work with us! Owen has day care Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, so those days are accounted for- for Owen-... (Monday, Dad is home, so may not have to manage Owen then either). We are flexible a bit.
We are fun, kind, and in love with our boys. We hope this website helps us find a wonderful Nanny for Oliver (and sometimes Owen). Thank you! Be in touch!

How to Find an Infant Care Job in Cudahy, WI
If you’re looking for an infant nanny job, you’ve come to the right place! We can help you find an infant care job in your area. Start by telling families about yourself in your profile, and then chat with families to find the right fit. When you think you’ve found the right match, you can turn the discussion towards compensation and responsibilities.
What is an Infant Nanny in Cudahy, WI
An infant nanny is a nanny that specializes in caring for newborns. They are skilled in diapering and providing care for any rashes, swaddling, bathing, feeding, and burping. Some infant nannies further specialize in care for premature newborns or multiples.
Preparing for a Nanny Interview for an Infant Care Position
Once you start connecting with prospective employers, the next step is an infant nanny job interview. Here is a list of some infant nanny interview questions to prepare for:
- What is your specific experience with this age group?
- Are you Infant CPR/First Aid certified in Cudahy, WI? Are you willing to be trained?
- How do you handle a crying baby?
- How often do you usually offer parents updates during the day?
- What do you feed an infant? At 0-3 months? 3-6 months? 6-9 months? 9-12 months?
- How do you set up the infant’s crib for a nap?
- What kind of activities will you plan to engage my baby?
You should be prepared with your references for past nanny jobs, and ideally, past infant jobs. Prior to the infant nanny interview, be sure to think about questions that you might have for the family. This is a great time to ask questions about the responsibilities and compensation for the infant nanny position. To make sure everyone has a shared understanding of the role and responsibilities, we recommend asking for a job offer or a nanny contract. By doing this, you can get off on the right foot with your future employer.
