A little bit about us

Hi
We are looking for a long-term nanny for our 2 11 year olds. Our boy has some medical conditions(type 1 diabetes with a pump and cgm, Celiac disease) that need tending to, along with a gluten free diet. Our little lady is very active in sports and will need transportation to practices and gymnastics. Both kids will also need picked up from school, 2 different schools😣 My schedule is pretty consistent. My S/O on the other hand does a swing shift schedule. I look forward to hearing back from you!

A little bit about us

We are seeking a new full-time live-in nanny to join our family in Jackson Hole, Wyoming! We are a family of three with one on the way (I’m very early, but the due date is expected early May). Our current beloved nanny is taking another position abroad.

About you!
- You are adventurous and love the outdoors. We want our kids to get outside and go on adventures every day, regardless of the weather
- You are proactive. We hate to micromanage and would love someone who proactively brings us ideas for things to do and keeps the house/nursery/baby bags in order
- You are positive. We want someone who really loves children and sees this job as a career. We want to treat our nannies as part of the family and would love someone whose mission in life is to develop and nurture children.
- You are a DOG LOVER. We have a very large Greater Swiss Mtn Dog in our family unit.
- You are drama free

About the role!
- Care for our 9-month-old son until he starts school (3 days per week) in Fall, 2026. Our next baby will be born in early May. We will have a full-time baby nurse for 3 months and then you and I will support the infant together on and off.
- 40-45 guaranteed hours per week
- Must be okay to work a full weekend day as part of the 40-45 hours
- Paid vacation and sick days
- Toyota 4Runner provided
- Private two-bedroom/1.5 bath townhouse with garage provided with all utilities covered (unit shares a wall with our house but is fully separate)
- Must be willing to travel with family, including ~2 months per year in San Francisco (private room provided)
- When we are doing shorter trips to visit grandparents, etc. we will expect our nanny to dog sit for us
- $25-$35 per hour, depending on experience

Ability to start either ASAP or early January 2026

How to Find an Infant Care Job in Wyoming

If you’re looking for an infant nanny job, you’ve come to the right place! We can help you find an infant care job in your area. Start by telling families about yourself in your profile, and then chat with families to find the right fit. When you think you’ve found the right match, you can turn the discussion towards compensation and responsibilities.

What is an Infant Nanny in Wyoming

An infant nanny is a nanny that specializes in caring for newborns. They are skilled in diapering and providing care for any rashes, swaddling, bathing, feeding, and burping. Some infant nannies further specialize in care for premature newborns or multiples.

Preparing for a Nanny Interview for an Infant Care Position

Once you start connecting with prospective employers, the next step is an infant nanny job interview. Here is a list of some infant nanny interview questions to prepare for:

  • What is your specific experience with this age group?
  • Are you Infant CPR/First Aid certified in Wyoming? Are you willing to be trained?
  • How do you handle a crying baby?
  • How often do you usually offer parents updates during the day?
  • What do you feed an infant? At 0-3 months? 3-6 months? 6-9 months? 9-12 months?
  • How do you set up the infant’s crib for a nap?
  • What kind of activities will you plan to engage my baby?

You should be prepared with your references for past nanny jobs, and ideally, past infant jobs. Prior to the infant nanny interview, be sure to think about questions that you might have for the family. This is a great time to ask questions about the responsibilities and compensation for the infant nanny position. To make sure everyone has a shared understanding of the role and responsibilities, we recommend asking for a job offer or a Wyoming nanny contract. By doing this, you can get off on the right foot with your future employer.
