A little bit about us

I'm a teacher, my husband is an engineer. We just moved from Oregon and are looking for care. Our daughter is an adorable sweet little being and I am looking forward to meet y'all! It would start officially on August 6th, but I would want to have you spend 2 afternoons with us, one with me here, and one where you do your thing. It would be Monday through Friday and start at 7 am and I would be home around 3:45 most days, no later than 4. It would be in my house. It would involve feeding, playing and putting her down for naps as well as arts and crafts projects and reading books to her. I would organize all materials you would need. I would love to have some light housework done. I would like her to have her same nap routine kept, but other than that I trust you to implement different activities throughout the day.

A little bit about us

We’re looking for a reliable, patient, caring babysitter for our baby (12months old at start). Monday–Wednesday 10AM–3PM. Responsibilities include feeding, diaper changes, age-appropriate play, supporting naps, and keeping the environment safe and tidy. I work from home and am often on calls and in meetings, so we need someone confident taking the lead. Experience with infants, babies and toddlers is required. Strong, clear communication with parents is essential. If you love caring for little ones and can commit to this schedule, we’d love to hear from you!

P.S: This is a part-time position for 15 hours per week. We don’t currently offer guaranteed hours, so you are paid for the hours worked. We understand that this may not be the right arrangement for everyone, and that’s completely okay. We’re specifically looking for someone who is comfortable with this schedule.

A little bit about us

Hello! I am looking for a nanny to assist me with my kids mainly after school Monday thru Fridays until the evening and on Saturdays. There will be some days where I'd like the nanny to stay longer in case I need to go out but will provide advance notice. I'd like for the nanny to pick up my oldest from school which is about 5 mins from the home while I pick up the other two and then assist the kids with food, homework or just overall care as I work full time. Sometimes I may ask the nanny to pick up all three of my kids depending on what I have going on for work. One of my kids does have autism and is non-verbal so therefore requires constant watch to ensure he doesn't eat non-edible items. Having a nanny experienced with autistic children is a huge plus and preferred. I also do have a small Yorkie so having a nanny who is an animal lover is necessary as that is my fur baby. I am very easy going and social and would prefer someone with the same vibe. My kids are well raised and have never had a nanny before as they had their grandmas but because we are new to Texas with no family, we now need someone who will love and care for my kids as one of their own.

A little bit about us

We’re looking for a part-time nanny to work approximately two full days (10 hour shifts) and 2 half days (five hour shifts) each week starting around mid March 2022. We expect this to be a nanny position ranging from 3 to 15 months depending on how well the partnership works. We are due in December 2021 and therefore expect our kid to be around 3 months old when we hire a nanny.

We need somebody who is able to transport themselves to our home and run errands.

We are looking for somebody who is very receptive to caregiving in a manner that best suits our needs/desires (e.g., discipline in a manner we prefer, feed our kids specific foods, etc.). We do consider ourselves good communicators and open to candid discussion to ensure your needs and concerns as a nanny are also met.

How do I find a nanny job in Fort Worth, TX?

Fort Worth is a vibrant city with a rich history and many family-oriented activities. From the Fort Worth Zoo to the Fort Worth Botanic Garden, there are numerous opportunities for nannies to engage children in fun and educational outings. Finding a nanny job in Fort Worth involves networking, using reputable job search platforms like Nanny Lane, and tailoring your resume to highlight your nanny responsibilities and experiences.

What are typical nanny responsibilities?

As a nanny, your duties primarily focus on the child's needs and wellbeing. This includes tasks such as preparing meals, helping with homework, planning educational activities, and providing transportation to and from school or extracurricular activities. For a more comprehensive list of nanny responsibilities, consider your potential employer's specific needs and expectations, which may include additional tasks such as light housekeeping or laundry.

What can I expect during a nanny job interview in Fort Worth, TX?

The nanny interview process typically involves an initial phone screening followed by an in-person interview. You may be asked a series of nanny interview questions relating to your previous experiences, your approach to childcare, and how you handle various situations. For example, how you would plan a day out at the Fort Worth Museum of Science and History? It's important to come prepared to discuss your previous nanny duties and showcase your passion for childcare.

What is the typical nanny salary in Fort Worth, TX?

Nanny salaries can vary greatly depending on factors such as the number of children, the specific nanny duties required, and whether the position is part-time or full-time. In Fort Worth, the average nanny salary can provide a helpful benchmark when negotiating your pay.

How does the nanny contract and payroll process work?

A nanny contract is a crucial document that outlines the specific responsibilities, hours, salary, and other terms of employment. It's a valuable tool for establishing clear expectations between you and your employer.

When it comes to payroll, it's important to know that nannies are considered household employees, not independent contractors. This means that your employer is responsible for withholding social security and Medicare taxes. Using a nanny payroll service can simplify this process, ensuring that all taxes are properly calculated and withheld.

Why are background checks important for finding a nanny job?

Background checks are a key part of the process when you're looking to find a nanny job. Most families require a nanny to have a clean background check. This can include a review of criminal records, driving records, and past employment verification. It provides families with peace of mind about their child’s safety and can increase your chances of being hired.
