A little bit about us…
Hello! I am expecting a baby at the end of February and need help for the first few months as I am still in grad school and will need to have the daytime to work on my thesis. I am looking for a part-time nanny/mother's helper. This is a great job for those still in school as you will have plenty of downtime to study :) !

I will be at home in my office during the day so I can be close by if you need anything at all. I do plan to run errands for myself or attend appointments as well so you will definitely have one on one time with the baby without my presence. I do plan to breastfeed, so you can have several breaks during the day while I breastfeed my baby.
Essential duties:
Diapering
Soothing
Playtime/interacting with the baby
Cleaning up any messes that the baby makes
Washing/sterilizing bottles and pumping equipment
Washing the baby's clothes, swaddles, burp cloths, crib sheets, etc.
Reading to the baby
Small errands that are baby related (e.g. grabbing more diapers/wipes from the store)

It is a requirement for you to be CPR certified in infants as well as in first aid. If you aren't and seem to be a good fit, we would pay for you to become certified. Another requirement is that you need to be up to date on your vaccines. Because my baby will be a newborn, she will not have the immune system to fend for herself. Required vaccines are as follows: COVID and booster if applicable
Flu for the 2022 flu season
MMR
Tdap
Varicella

I do have a very friendly and calm golden retriever that you would need to let outside only twice during your working hours, otherwise, he is great about fending for himself. He is just super friendly and might follow you around.

Again, I will be in the house as well (the office) and I am happy to answer any questions you may have while you're working.
