A little bit about us

I’m May and I’m looking for a loving and dedicated nanny to care for my three children. I have a 4-year-old daughter who is hard of hearing and attends Sunshine Cottage School for Deaf children Monday through Friday, from 7 AM to 2:30 PM. During the summer, she will need full-time care.

I also have 22-month-old twin boys who are active and curious! This position will involve caring for all three children—helping with daily activities, transportation, and planning fun activities to keep them engaged.

The role will include picking up my daughter from school during the school year, providing care for all three kids during the summer, and taking them to appointments when needed. We’ll provide a vehicle for transportation to get them to activities, appointments, or wherever they need to go.

If this sounds like a good fit for you, I’d love to discuss more details.

Looking forward to hearing from you!

How should I prepare for a nanny interview in San Antonio, TX?

Preparation for a nanny interview is key to landing the job. You should be ready to discuss your experience, skills, and approach to child care. Be prepared to answer common nanny interview questions about scenarios related to child safety, conflict resolution, and age-appropriate activities. Remember, interviews are not only about the family learning more about you but also about you getting to know the family.

What does a typical nanny interview process look like?

A typical nanny interview process usually involves an initial phone screening, followed by one or two in-person interviews. The family might ask you to interact with the children during one of these interviews. Some families may also request a trial period. In San Antonio, as with most nanny jobs, you'll need to undergo background checks to ensure the safety of the children you'll be caring for. Additionally, depending on the nature of the job (full-time, part-time, or summer nanny job), there might be additional considerations. A part-time nanny job might require more flexibility in hours, while a full-time nanny job often comes with more responsibilities and therefore, a higher salary.
