A little bit about us

I have three beautiful girls and a little boy! They love coloring, crafts, water play, and pretend play! They keep me on my toes!
I am looking for a nanny/babysitter to help me a few hours a few days a week. My husband works a lot so I need some time to just reset. All jobs will be at my house. Some light cooking may be involved for dinner or lunch but nothing too crazy. Light cleaning (keeping the house picked up while babysitting) will be required. Also, bedtime routine may be part of the job depending on time of job. We have 2 dogs so hopefully you are an animal person!

A little bit about us

We are looking for a nanny for our 5y girl and 3 old boy.

Can guarantee 30h/week through a payroll service depending on availability. Mom works 11 weekdays spread over the month (normally 7:45-5:45 days) and 4 weekend days. Nanny would need to be able to cover at minimum the 11 weekdays with potential for more hours on weekends/ when mom is not working depending on your availability. Our 5y old does attend kindergarten daily and the 3y old does PreK a few hours 3 times a week, so drop off and pick ups would be necessary!

Ideal nanny will have prior experience with toddlers. Must be comfortable driving kids (car will be provided for child transport.) Will need light cooking/housekeeping related to the kids, and house manager duties would be a plus if open to it. Dog is present in house. We are a low screen time family and looking for someone who will interact with the kids and do activities with them!

Preparation for a nanny interview is key to landing the job. You should be ready to discuss your experience, skills, and approach to child care. Remember, interviews are not only about the family learning more about you but also about you getting to know the family.

A typical nanny interview process usually involves an initial phone screening, followed by one or two in-person interviews. The family might ask you to interact with the children during one of these interviews. Some families may also request a trial period.
